Usually Food Fridays is reserved for some snazzy recipe I’ve dreamed up or swear by. Well this Friday is different, as you know, this week has been all about Captain Charlie’s birthday party and you KNOW I love a good party. This time, I wanted to do it differently - I wanted more time with our guests, I wanted to be less stressed and quite frankly - I wanted THE BEST for our little man, Charlie Ford. (Okay okay maybe this was all for Aunty Jill) I decided this time, I would give catering a try.
I am forever changed! First of all, for me everything is last minute - so when we contacted Cabana Grille I was thrilled how quickly their ideas came together and how easy it was on me. The day of the party was no different. Their Bubbly positive team showed up, ushered me out of the kitchen, ordered me to pour myself a glass of wine and the rest is history! They literally took care of everything and for this I am forever grateful. It gave me more time with Charlie, more with Granny and my family. Literally not a worry in the world!!! On the Menu:
Mini Grilled Gruyere Cheese
Baked Potato Nuggets
Stuffed with short ribs, topped with loaded

7 Layer Dip with house made chips in a mini canning jar
Flight of Sliders... House made beef, turkey and garden patties
Popcorn Station… Truffle popcorn served in mini popcorn containers

Gold Dust Covered Chocolate Ganashe
