I’ve always been pretty grateful, but this last weekend was 4 days of LOVE, friends, FAMILY, sunshine & playing in the water. I’ve been spending a lot of time in Vancouver lately since that’s where my work is, but this past weekend I got to spend a lot of time at home in Kelowna on the lake with some of my favorite people, who really are the most amazing human beings on earth.

We TOATLLY packed it in last weekend, it was Granny’s 81st birthday which is always a big party… remember how we celebrated last year? Well, no tattoos this year but we did have everyone together at the park and just soaked up the family love. My cousin Jesse came and brought her kids, which was AMAZING – so fun getting to spend time with them – I say it time and time again but I’m so grateful that my family are also my best friends.

We spent most of the time on the boat (thank you boys so, so much) and I FINALLY got up on the board! Remember how I posted this pic on my twitter a few weeks back? Well with a little coaching from some cuties, I FINALLY made it up and now, well I’m pretty much pro ;) (not at all actually)…

But finally…

I did it!!!

All in all it was a freaking awesome weekend and the wake surfing was an amazing cherry on top.
