So if you guys have been keeping up with me on Twitter you know I had a heck of a hard time trying to get out of NY because of a lady named Irene. While it was a frustrating process, I'm really thinking of all of those that lost their homes and even loved ones and hoping all of you are doing okay!
While I was weathering the storm over the weekend my makeup artist Michelle, Manny and Spiro and I kept busy with our own little photo shoots I thought I’d share a photo diary of what we did with our ample down time out on the East coast. Photos are courtesy of Manny's photography company which you should all check out here!
We had a ton of fun in Target (the only store open) two days in a row:
Until I got in trouble for riding the cart:
We took some random photos…
…and went out to dinner at the same restaurant three times a day. We also conducted some highly professional news interviews on the local flooding:
Saturday night we stayed up till 9 am waiting for Irene but didn’t really see much (which we were grateful for!). Basically, if you can’t tell from the pictures above, we spent our weekend goofing around Bloomingburg waiting for the green light. While waiting around was hard for a constant mover like me, I'm so thankful we didn't have to deal with too much of Irene's wrath and I can't stop worrying about all of you that are still stranded on the East coast or dealing with bigger losses!
Were any of you (or your families) affected by Irene?
Oh, and shout out to WestJet for finally getting me home and having live TV in flight- the best airline ever!
