I can’t tell you how much I enjoy having you here on the site with me! I get so excited every time I see someone new’s signed up to join the community and I am such a lucky gal to have all of you to discuss such fun topics with!

Since I like seeing all of your pretty faces, I decided I’d whip up a post that details exactly how to upload pictures to your profile; how to change your profile photo; and how to change your avatar (okay, that term makes me crack up a little).

Let’s get to it!

How to Upload Pictures

1. Click “my profile” on the right of the site to get to your profile page

2. Once on your profile page click the “photos” tab at the top of the page

3. Once on your photo page, click “create a new photo album”

4. When prompted, name and describe your album, then click “submit”

5. Once you’ve clicked submit to save your description, click “select file” to chose a photo you’d like to upload

6. Select your file from anywhere on your computer and click “open”

7. Once you’ve selected the file you press “upload file”

8. When your photo is done uploading you’ll get a confirmation note!

How to Change Your Profile Photo

Once you’ve successfully uploaded a picture you will see it on the photos page of your profile. If you’d like to make one of your photos your “profile photo” (which is the main, big picture on your profile page) here’s what you do:

1. Click on your photo album

2. Go to the photo you’d like as your profile picture

3. Click “set this picture as my profile photo” to the right of the image



How to Change Your Avatar

Your “profile photo” and “avatar” are two separate images. To change your avatar (the smaller square picture next to your name) here’s what to do:

1. Go to your profile page.
2. Click “edit my profile” on the right of your profile page

3. Once on the editing page, click “my avatar” on the right

4. Browse your computer and choose any image you’d like

5. Now you’ll be prompted to crop your image, once you’re done cropping click “apply”

6. Once you've applied your edits you will see a window telling you your image has been cropped. Click "submit"

7. Once you've submitted your new avatar you will be taken back to the previous page. Press "upload" to finalize and upload your new avatar.
