If you saw my mini home tour you know that I love oversized mirrors in a space. Oversized items can really help to ground and anchor a room and mirrors always make your room feel much larger than it really is! Also, a huge mirror adds major drama and what gal doesn’t want a little of that (in her home of course, not her personal affairs…)?

I know that statement mirrors can also carry a hefty price tag so try checking out local estate sales for some high quality scores. And always keep in mind that you can stain and paint any old mirrors you might have already!

Oversized mirrors work well in any room but they’re especially great in small spaces like entryways. Remember that you can always place end tables and furniture in front of the mirror so don’t feel like it needs to stand on its own completely.
