Hi guys,

I want to share an article that the Red Cross posted yesterday about my recent visit to Slave Lake. If you saw my tweet yesterday you might know that I am now a part of the Red Cross Twitter Team and I got the chance to work with the Red Cross while I was visiting Slave Lake.

It was overwhelmingly sad to see all of the destroyed homes in Slave Lake (where I spent all of my summers growing up) but I have to tell you, the people of Slave Lake inspired me with their positivity and resilience.

I spoke with so many amazing people that had incredible strength even though they lost everything and my visit inspired me to reach out and help as much as I can! Here are some images from my visit and if you'd like to see more photos check out my Slave Lake Relief album here.
