Adding colour into your home can be daunting. When it comes to painting walls I tend to always lean towards a white or neutral palette so that I can easily add in colour, in other ways. I have recently become more daring by adding in subtle hues of colour to pair with all of my white basics and neutrals. I recently discovered the Quiet Comfort collection by HGTV HOMETM by Sherwin-Williams and I can’t stop using it. I have been loving adding in touches of undertone colour to still make the space feel fresh, bright and clean. With these subtle hues you are still able to change in and out various pops of colour throughout your decor. If you want to get reeeaalllly daring … try using one of these colours on the ceiling of the room. This will reflect the colour onto the walls but won’t be too overwhelming so that you can keep everything else neutral and fresh. I suggest using Pure White from the Perfect Whites collection on the walls to counteract the colour. This will help keep your home consistent by achieving room-to-room harmony.
Want a quiet space that still has energy? Combining bolder shades with their more neutral partners will help you effortlessly achieve this.
Well what do you think?!? Will you start adding colour into your home!?!?
