Hi, Team Jilly Box here!   We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join the team. You will be pivotal in guiding our overall marketing strategy by developing and implementing strategies to drive product, user acquisition, engagement, and retention in order to achieve business growth goals.
The Jilly Box is a quarterly subscription box that was founded in 2019 by Jillian Harris and Tyler Evans. Together, Jillian and Tyler wanted to establish a way to bring Jillian’s passion for design and creativity to light while simultaneously supporting small, North American, eco-friendly, sustainable, culturally diverse, and cruelty-free brands.  The Jilly Box Inc. lives under the  Jillian Harris Design Inc. umbrella, which includes a family of brands, including Jilly Academy, J&J Farms, Jilly Digital, Jillian Harris Design, and potentially more in the future!
As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will be reporting to Britney, our Director of Marketing, and collaborating with our leadership team to build out and execute on our growth plans.  You will be supporting The Jilly Box vision and brand across all our digital platforms from our website to social media channels.  Your focus will be increasing customer base, revenue, and market optimization through research and data-driven marketing tactics.

The Opportunity

  • Developing an innovative vision, actionable plan, and strategic roadmap to drive the growth of our product offerings and to grow and keep our Insiders engaged and excited.
  • Managing, strategizing & analyzing our content across all of our digital channels and marketing campaigns.
  • Planning and executing consumer research through surveys, social media polls, social media audits and other tools.
  • Conducting competitors’ analysis of websites, sales performance, usability, competitiveness, and marketing effectiveness and providing recommendations.
  • Creating strategies to improve our flagship products and new product marketing initiatives.
  • Optimizing website and e-commerce performance, navigation, and functionality.
  • Defining year-long promotional marketing plan by analyzing business objectives, outlining marketing goals, advertising budget, and creating tactics and KPIs
  • Reporting and collaborating with leadership on monthly marketing reports to ensure all other departments are updated on upcoming marketing promotions, campaigns, and events.
  • Creating marketing processes and policies for the department as needed (Ex: social media engagement practices).
  • Executing and reporting on seasonal launches and campaigns.
  • Managing and tracking our various sales performance & metrics from our social media affiliates to vendor & supplier commissions.
  • Communicating wins, identifying trends, and proactively offering suggestions for the marketing and sales team.
  • Staying on top of industry trends – the latest PR and social media advancements to elevate our relevant campaigns.

What you bring to the table

  • You have experience managing the marketing vision and strategy within the DTC (direct to consumer), retail, or subscription box space.
  • You have a strong marketing research and analytical background to optimize campaigns and product offerings.
  • You pride yourself on having excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have an eye for design, a visual storyteller with an aesthetic eye.
  • You have experience working with project management tools such as Monday.com and you approach managing projects with intention and care.
  • You have experience with UTM campaign management.
  • You are able to understand and cater your work to different social audiences.
  • You have experience with marketing automation platforms and marketing analytical tools.
  • It would be great if you have previous experience working with subscription box businesses.

$75,000 – $80,000 a year

Perks at The Jilly Box:

(3) weeks paid vacation annually
(10) paid sick days annually (sick days roll over into the next calendar year to a maximum of 40 days)
(4) additional paid days off in the summer, subject to change
