I just HAD to share some pictures and memories with you from this past Christmas. My heart is still BURSTING with love from what was such a different but WONDERFUL holiday! Usually, every year, we spend it with my Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in Kelowna. This year…I thought I would try something different. Mom, Dad and I…drove down to Calgary (with Justin and Nacho of course) to spend Christmas with Justin’s Family!!!!
It was 10 days of laughing, crying, resting, eating, drinking and love.
I first and foremost, want to thank Paul and Melissa (Justin’s parent’s) for hosting my family this year and treating us like their own. Christmas dinner, Christmas morning (so incredibly special), the field trips, the meals…!!! The time and energy that went into planning a holiday around 10 people must have been insane. We love you, thank you!!!
I also want to thank the Fairmont Palliser, Jacqueline, you are an angel!!! Amborella Flower Studio and The Ronald McDonald House for Mom and Dad’s GORGEOUS suite, the pampering and the pure love. Having us spend Christmas Eve together at the Ronald Macdonald House was one of the most special memories of the year. Thank you for having us and letting us share those moments with you.
Thank you to my babe, for organizing the most beautiful Birthday day, lunch and drinks at the Fairmont Lake Louise, dinner at the Banff Springs, and then hours of giggles and drinking playing Cards Against Humanity with Matty and Claire (way too fun but not for the weak of heart!).
We finished our beautiful year in Emerald Lake and I tell you … if you haven’t been you MUST book a vacation there, the most magical beautiful place on earth! Or at least in Canada! Oh and thank you to Mike and Martha for getting me on those damn skis and encouraging me around that 10k ski on New Years morning… it was a tough one but a good one and a great way to start the New Year!
Just a little recap and huge shout out of LOVE to those who made my holiday SO SO special. Sometimes it is hard to jump out of your comfort zone but I am SO happy we did, our family grew a little bit this Christmas!
Looks like you had a wonderful holiday! Great pictures too! Happy New Year!
Looks like a good time! Happy 2015
