When working within the confines of a small bedroom, you have to get creative when it comes to finding storage solutions. Hydraulic bed storage is good, but not practical for everyday use… it can cause extra bed-making, and who wants that!?! Enter Plan B… Try using the space around and above the bed! This wall is often used to display artwork or photographs – but it doesn’t have to be used for that!
In this room, space was hard to come by. The family was very specific about enlarging their en suite washroom, and the only way to do that was to remove their already-too-small closet. By getting custom cabinetry made to fit around the bed, we took advantage of the wall space. By doing this, we were able to give the family a wonderful bedroom without having to compromise on the storage that they so desperately needed. Check out the images! Storage can be classy!
