June is Pride Month, and as you know, I love to support small brands and celebrate diversity. So, what better way to commemorate pride than by sharing your love and support towards some incredible 2SLGBTQIA+ businesses, right?!
Over the years, we’ve featured quite a few 2SLGBTQIA+-owned brands in The Jilly Box, so I decided to shine the spotlight on a few of them today. Without further ado, in no specific order, let’s get right into it!
1. Dew of The Gods/Toyfactory
Ok, it’s no secret that Dew of The Gods has been a long-time fave brand of mine, and we were absolutely thrilled to include their Filla PWRNAP Retinol Mask and Filla Collagen Under Eye Pads in The Spring 2023 Jilly Box. The incredible brand, Toyfactory, is owned by Ryan as well, and their Dollpaint Eyeliner is featured in our Beauty Box! If you are not familiar with this brand, I encourage you to check them out! Not only is their line of skincare products amazing, but it is also vegan and made from sustainably sourced ingredients!

2. Jardines Domaine
How could I create a pride brands list and not include my dear friend Anthony Salituro who owns Jardines Domaine? I’m SO proud to have this brand as part of The Jilly Box family! For those of you who don’t know, we’ve partnered with this incredible brand multiple times over the years and are in love with everything they do! In fact, Anthony has a home decor line, featuring a curated selection of home goods that you sure don’t want to miss next time you are in Kamloops, BC.

3. Piper & Perro
Piper & Perro is a brand that was featured in both The Summer 2024 Jilly Box and the 2024 Holiday Box! This brand, founded by Tom Jansen is Canadian-owned AND their products are MADE in Canada! One of the many reasons why I love this brand, is that Piper & Perro is built on diversity and inclusivity, values that are very important to me and my businesses. If you’re looking for a values-driven perfume brand to support, look no further.

4. Quickies
Quickies, owned by my friend, Bailey Stanworth, is a press-on nail brand that has been featured as an add-on for The Jilly Box and is regularly available on our market! The brand slogan states they are “for the girls, gays and theys”, excemplifying their commitment to inclusivity and building an approachable community. Plus, the brand proudly donates $1 from every order to a charitable initiative. How amazing is that?!

5. Lover’s Tempo
Lover’s Tempo, as seen in the Holiday 2024 Jilly Box, is a Vancouver-based jewelry brand founded by Elaine Kim Smith! Not only do they make the most beautiful beautiful jewelry, but they are B Corp Certified, Canadian-owned and use plastic-free packaging… so their values are VERY aligned with ours!
