Christmas Tree Hunting in Style

Last week Justin, Leo, Nacho and I went Christmas tree hunting in East Kelowna … I also wanted to sneak some family photos in at the same time and I promised Justin it would be quick … welp. What I thought would take half an hour MAX … took about an HOUR and a HALF!!! LOL!!! Oops!! I don’t blame it on the family photo shoot though … I blame it on the people who come to the tree farm in NOVEMBER to pick out their trees!! LOL!! Every tree I found what I thought would be the “perfect” tree for our place had a freakin SOLD sign on it and it blew me away that people are so on the ball!! What the hell?? LOL!! Maybe I’m just late to the game?? LOL. Either way, we had a great time and found the cutest blue spruce which we ended up decorating that same night after we put Leo to bed.

We really couldn’t have asked a better place to snap some holiday photos, the tree farm had the cutest little sleighs there that we were able to incorporate into our photos, and even though there wasn’t much snow, Leo had the best time running around in between all of the trees and he also looked ridiculously adorable doing it.

When I know we might be able to sneak in some family photos I try to plan our outfits accordingly and I LOVE being able to dress us up in at least ONE item that matches, whether it’s our toques … or jackets, etc. But this time around it was our BOOTS!! How freakin adorable (and perfect) are the matching Sorrels for family holiday photos?? We got ours from Nordstrom and I love the fact that they have matching men’s, women’s, and toddler boots!!

Ps. Can we take a minute to check out my pink sweater?!?! I’m sure many of you will want to know about it!! It’s also from Nordstrom and not only is it cute but it’s crazy comfy and comes in three different colours!!
