Must-Have Summer Swimsuits

I’m sure most of you know by now that Summer is one of my favourite seasons! Not only because of the beautiful weather we get here in the Okanagan (and delicious summer cocktails ?) but because I get to live in a bathing suit and hang out at the pool with the kiddos! If you checked out my summer bucket list blog, you’ll know that slowing down and enjoying more time with the kids was at the top of my list(if you missed the blog, you can check it out here!)! And well even though that hasn’t happened QUITE yet, I feel like it’s on the horizon.

One thing I thing I think I have a good inventory of is bathing suits. My bathing suit drawer is fully stocked and fully loaded. I have narrowed down my FAVES for you today as I have come across SO MANY adorable bathing suits and these cute colours and styles shouldn’t be missed! And,  you can never have too many bathing suits … right?? LOL!!

Prints and Patterns

Ok you guys, I have been LOVING leopard print anything and EVERYTHING lately, and I just adore my leopard print one piece from Shady Lady!! Patterns and prints are great because they’re slimming AND distract from any stomach bumps and lumps (you mamas out there know exactly what I’m talking about!! LOL!).

This patterned Billabong suit is another one of my favs and is so cute!! I’ve always loved the way they fit and feel, and the best part is they don’t break the bank!!

Classic Two Piece

One swimsuit look I couldn’t give up would be the “high waisted” look!!! It’s SO cute and it covers up that tummy LOL!!! If I’m going for a two piece suit, one of my favourite high waisted pieces is my pink gingham one from Marysia! Every couple of years I treat myself to a new Marysia swim suit … they’re an investment piece but they fit so well and the quality is SO worth it!!

Although recently I have been much more comfortable rocking one-pieces and high waisted bottoms, there are SO many adorable bikinis out there that I think are too cute not to share!! One of my absolute favourites is again, from Marysia!! The Venice one shoulder top is to die for!!!

Another look I love is a sporty top, especially with two babes! My fav right now is this striped one from Madewell … and it’s even high waisted!  I’ve also linked some of my other favourite two piece looks below!! There are lots of great suits from Old Navy, Asos, and American Eagle!!!

Classic One Piece

Everybody needs a GOOD quality black one piece, it is a MUST!!! They are so flattering and make you feel so confident and sexy!! Shay has had this one from Beth Richards for 5 years now, and I finally got around to ordering it for Vegas and it did not disappoint!

Another black one piece I just ordered was this one from Anthropologie!! The fabric is textured and it sucks you right in. Plus, I love the high neckline, it makes it feel so chic!

You can never go wrong with anything ruffled and off the shoulder as well, the suits below are insanely cute!
