I know I know … it’s not even Christmas yet and you’re probably thinking New Year’s Eve, really!? We can’t help it, we LOVE planning ahead and getting our decor prepped for the holidays and we love sharing our favourite decor tips and tricks with you … so here WE are! LOL! That’s right, today Team Jilly is taking over the blog and sharing all of our New Year’s Eve decor must-haves. We know that this New Year’s Eve may look a little different this year but even if it’s just your household ringing it in together, why not do it in style?
New Year’s Eve Decor
1. Reusable Banners
If you know Jill, you’ll know she LOVES reusable banners and one of her favourite places to order them from is She Felt Lovely Designs! I mean, at this point, she pretty much has one for every holiday. Reusable banners are so handy to tuck away after each event and reuse for years to come!
2. Discoballs
Ok, we were scrolling through Instagram (what else is new?! LOL!) and we’ve been seeing these cute little disco balls used as New Year’s decor and is it not just the cutest thing!? You can add them to your bar cart, tablescape, or even as little ornaments on your tree, the possibilities are endless!
3. Reusable Garland
Nothing screams New Year’s Eve quite like sparkles, and if you’re on a time crunch there is nothing better than (or easier) than some reusable streamers/ garland! Again, another one of our favorites is from She Felt Lovely Designs and she can even make custom pieces and bring your celebration to life or if you’re looking to make a big statement, why not order some reusable paper lanterns from Oh Happy Day!
4. Accessories
In our books, it’s not officially a New Year’s party without a few accessories and sparklers!! We don’t know about you, but one of our favourite things is heading outside and ring in the new year with a toast and by lighting a fun sparkler!
5. Dinnerware & drinkware
Now, we wouldn’t technically classify this as decor, but investing in some great dinner and drinkware always comes in so handy when you are having a cozy dinner at home. Jilly’s favourite wine glasses are from Estelle Coloured Glass, but you can also get some really beautiful glasses from CB2, along with great dinnerware too.
