New items have hit The Jilly Box Market!!!!! And I could not RESIST telling you about them in a blog. Eek! The team loves to be sneaky and add new market items here and there throughout the season, and if you’ve been paying close attention, you may have noticed some new additions appear! *Hint, hint: regularly check the market!
It has been a dream of mine to create an e-commerce store that was a respected go-to location to shop small (predominantly North American), purpose-driven businesses. (An extension of The Jilly Box.) You may have noticed our market has grown significantly in the last few years, for which I am SO PROUD!!!
While the seasonal Jilly Boxes are typically purchased to spoil yourself seasonally (or to spoil a partner!), the market is an amazing space to shop for birthday gifts, bridal showers, teacher ‘thank you’ presents, and ‘just because’ items. Of course… we always have to grab a few items for ourselves from the market, too… *wink.* Who could possibly resist?!

We first designed these shirts with Awasis Boutique in 2022 to show our support for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which also happens to be Orange Shirt Day. Orange Shirt Day is a day to commemorate the history and acknowledge the intergenerational trauma caused by residential schools.

The flowers graphic on the design of this shirt represent the six provinces where hundreds of Indigenous children were buried and symbolizes that the lost children will never be forgotten.

This clutch was a bestseller from our Spring 2023 Jilly Box, so naturally, we HAD to bring it back, but this time in TWO colourways: blue and beige!
The clutch is handwoven in raffia. I’ve never had a bag like it!! It comes with TWO different straps (both vegan leather), so you can wear it across the body or on your wrist.
Oh! And we updated the lining to coordinate with The Spring 2024 Jilly Box’s colours. It’s a super cute light brown and white gingham cotton lining!
