The day is ALMOST here! I am so excited to finally share our 12 Days of Giving announcement with you today! We love surprising you – our community – with amazing giveaways and as you may know, we took a year off last year, but 12 Days of Giving is BACK in full force and with a super exciting charitable component that I am SO thrilled about.
So, our team has been hard at work these past couple of months eagerly assembling 12 days of jaw-dropping surprises just for you! In total, we will be giving away 28 prizes valued at over $25,000 dollars CAD!! How amazing is that?!
The focus of this year’s campaign is to align with 12 of our favourite brands and work together as a force for change. Each brand included in the 12 days has made a generous $2,500 donation to the Kelowna Women’s Shelter, bringing our total donation to $30,000!!!! But that’s not all. On top of that, we also have a donation entry option (in addition to our usual entry options), which means we’re offering the chance for our community to give back as well. On each day of the campaign, you can make a donation to the Kelowna Women’s Shelter to get extra entries to win one of these incredible prizes!
The Kelowna Women’s Shelter has been a cornerstone of support for women and children facing domestic abuse in the Central Okanagan since 1980, and this organization is such an integral part of our community. Their services are available 24/7 to women of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs. They offer a comprehensive range of programs, including two Emergency Transition Houses, a Second Stage Program, Community Outreach, and 24/7 Support Lines. In Canada, 44% of women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime, with higher rates among women with disabilities, Indigenous women, and those in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Their unwavering commitment to safety and support has led to a 72% increase in safety and exit planning information provided from 2023 to 2024. I am so proud that this campaign is supporting an organization that makes such an impact in our community, and I encourage all of you reading to learn more about Kelowna Women’s Shelter here!

Here’s what you need to know about 12 Days of Giving!
The 14th annual 12 Days of Giving campaign is launching on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 10am PST. Each and every day for 12 days we will be announcing a new prize from one of our amazing brand partners. The last giveaway will be announced on Thursday, December 12, 2024, which means you will need to get all of your entries in BEFORE Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 11:59 pm PST! Then the exciting stuff happens… we will contact ALL of the winners by email on Monday, December 16 and reveal on the blog who won these amazing prizes on Wednesday, December 18, 2024!
How to enter 12 Days of Giving
Again this year we will have a dedicated 12 Days of Giving entry page. This dedicated page will refresh every day throughout the 12 days with a new giveaway! To enter, all you will need to do is pop by the site and complete the following prompts.
Note: You do not need to complete each prompt listed but each prompt you complete will get you one or more entries! So, the more prompts you complete, the more entries you will receive!

1. DO I NEED TO COMPLETE ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER?
No, you don’t need to complete all of the requirements to enter the giveaways. However, the more you complete the MORE entries you get for each day!
2. CAN ANYONE PARTICIPATE IN THE GIVEAWAY?
Residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and the US, excluding FL and NY can enter!
3. WHAT LOCATIONS ARE EXCLUDED FROM THE GIVEAWAYS?
- Quebec
- Florida
- New York
- Puerto Rico
- Guam
- All US territories
- Overseas US military installations
- And where prohibited
4. WHY DID YOU EXCLUDE THESE LOCATIONS?
Contesting rules and regulations differ from province to province and from state to state.
5. WHAT TIME OF DAY WILL THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAYS BE POSTED ON YOUR WEBSITE?
The giveaways will be revealed at 10am PST every day from December 1st – December 12th!
6. DOES MY INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT NEED TO BE MADE PUBLIC TO BE ELIGIBLE? MY ACCOUNT IS PRIVATE.
Yes, in order for us to properly track entries your Instagram account must be public until we announce the winners on December 18th.
7. CAN I ENTER THE GIVEAWAY ON MOBILE?
Yes, you can! However, sometimes entering the giveaways on a desktop can be a smoother process!
8. WHEN IS THE CUT-OFF FOR ENTERING EACH OF THESE GIVEAWAYS?
You will need to get ALL of your entries in before December 15, 2024, at 11:59 pm PST!
9. DO YOU ANNOUNCE THE WINNERS AT THE END OF EACH DAY?
No, we will randomly select and contact the winners on December 16th, 2024 and then reveal who won these amazing prizes on the blog on December 18th after we have contacted each of the winners and confirmed their prizes.
10. HOW WILL THE WINNERS BE NOTIFIED?
We will notify the winners via the email address you provide to enter the giveaway. Once we get in contact with you we will ask you a skill-testing question to verify the prize. If we are unsuccessful in contacting you, you will have 48 hours to contact us back.
11. IF I WIN MULTIPLE GIVEAWAYS DO I GET TO KEEP ALL OF THE PRIZES?
We welcome everyone to enter as many giveaway days as they would like! However, in the case that you win more than one giveaway, we will email you to ask which prize you would like and will select another winner to receive the others.
