With Christmas ALMOST upon us … I am doing my best to research “vegan” options for the holiday classics. I’m sure that a few rum and eggnogs will be drank this holiday season … but why not try a healthier option if you can?? That’s where Tori comes into play … I have asked her to create and test out different vegan options that are lighter on the calories and slightly healthier than the regular ol eggnog …
It’s Tori here from Fraîche Nutrition, and I’m so happy that it’s that time of year! It doesn’t get any more festive than eggnog, so I wanted to whip up a vegan version that is also lighter on the calories. You can easily use exclusively soy milk in this and skip the coconut milk (just make it 4 c. of soy milk and leave out the coconut milk) if you want to slim it down even more (we tested it and it still tastes amazing!). I left the rum out of the ingredients but clearly add at your discretion LOL!!!
Garland | Gold Rim Glasses | Paper Straws | Mittens
Ingredients: (Serves 4)
3 c. vanilla soy beverage
1 c. full-fat coconut milk
¼ c. maple syrup
½ tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
½ tsp. nutmeg
Directions:
Blend all of the ingredients together in a blender until frothy. Pour into the glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Happy Holidays!!

The best thing about this is that us preggo’s can have this! thank you
Waaaahooooooo!!!!! Enjoy Jan (and congrats to you)!!! XOXO
Can not wait to try this. Just wondering, is the full fat coconut milk the canned coconut milk and can one use almond milk instead of the soy? Thanks so much
Yes!!!! Give it a try!! There’s even Coconut flavoured Almond Milk out there …. hmmm … so many options!! LOL!!!
Definitely going to give this a go! xx
My friend is allergic to soy milk! She is vegan because she’s diabetic and trying to get pregnant. She LOVES eggnog! So, I came straight to you to see if I could find some for her! She usually makes oatmilk. Think that’ll work?
Ohhhh I haven’t tried that! Let me know how it turns out!! xoxo
