While I was away in Hawaii without my PHONE, Team Jilly took over the house and decorated every room for Halloween. Amidst the decoration set-up, these ladies decided to add some fun by concocting a selection of festive drinks. I mean, SERIOUSLY, as fun as Halloween decorating and planning can be, there’s no denying that it’s better with a drink in hand.
With Halloween quickly approaching and as you start to begin planning your own Halloween parties, I wanted to provide some inspo for your drink menu and share one of the stand-out cocktails Team Jilly sampled: the Hollow-tini! Not only is this drink delicious, but it pairs perfectly with our 7 Terror-ific Halloween Treat Recipes if you’re looking for some dessert inspo too!
The team found the inspo for this cocktail from the Chandeliers and Champagne blog (who refer to it as the Creepy Lychee Halloween Martini) and HAD to taste test it for themselves. So, let’s get to it!!
Calling All Witches: It’s Time for a Hollow-tini!
Ingredients
1 ounce 1 Vodka or liquor of choice
1 ounce 1 lychee liqueur
1 ounce 1 lychee juice
0.5 ounces 0.5 fresh lime juice
Lychees
Blueberries
Directions
- Set your martini glass on the counter and fill it with ice and let it rest for a few minutes for an extra frigid Hollow-tini.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle one lychee with Vodka and lychee liqueur. Add lime juice and lychee juice. Shake well and strain into your martini glass.
- For the pièce de résistance, add a blueberry to the center of two lychee’s to make “the eyeballs..” Slide the lychees onto a fancy cocktail pick side-by-side and place it on top of your glass.
