The weather is sure heating up here in British Columbia, and with that, I thought what better way to welcome the sweet sweet sunshine than with a round-up of my favourite Summer essentials! Whether you’re heading to the pool, boat, or beach we’ve scoured the internet to help you take your warm-weather activities to the next level!
1. Floaties
If you’ve seen photos of our pool you’ll know that pool floaties are a non-negotiable when it comes to summer fun in this household! LOL! We have grown quite the collection over the years, but somehow Summer comes around and I am suddenly on the hunt for more! 🤪 I mean, how cute is this Funboy x Malibu Barbie Vintage Convertible floatie!?
2. Towel
I’m sure you have your regular old towels in your linen closet, but you need at least one towel that is both functional AND cute for on-the-fly Summer adventures! One of my all-time favourite beach towels is from the Summer 2023 Jilly Box from Tofino Towel Co.
3. Swim Suit
Ok, so I may have a slight obsession with swimwear, I lost count on how many bikinis and one-pieces I actually own (much like my Smash + Tess Romper obsession). 4. Accessories
There is nothing better than rounding up your favourite accessories to accompany you on your Summer adventures! First and foremost, I’m a big fan of cute, easy-to-wear slides for around the pool, and we have the most ADORABLE pair currently in The Jilly market! I also have a collection of affordable sunnies (because they tend to break when the kiddos get their hands on them), sun hats, and beach bags! One accessory that OFTEN gets forgotten though is something cute to tie your hair up with (for those who have long hair)! My go-to this season has been my Beth Richards Floral Scrunchie and Scarf.
5. Outdoor
Whether you are sitting poolside or beachside it’s always nice to have a bit of shade and a comfortable place to sit! If you’re on the hunt for these essentials, I couldn’t be more obsessed with all of the outdoor umbrellas and beach chairs from Monika Hibbs Home.
