Morning everyone! It’s Team Jilly here for another takeover!! We wanted to pop on today to give you some behind the scenes details and photos from Annie’s Sip and See last Saturday!
We knew Jillian wanted to have a small get together to officially welcome (and toast!) little Annie into the world so we got busy and started planning Annie’s dreamy Sip & See! We sent out beautiful e-invites and invited some of Jillian’s closest friends and family and enjoyed an intimate get-together at Tori’s stunning home.
The theme was very dreamy and elegant (to match the theme of Annie’s nursery!), we had pops of light pink and blue and kept the decorations minimal with some cute balloons and gorgeous floral arrangements from Bylands.
Tori, being the incredible baker and cook that she is planned out a delicious breakfast themed spread for everyone to feast on in between their snuggles with Annie. Tori, Brea, and Team Jilly made french toast sticks, tofu scramble on toast, mushroom crostini, veggie muffins, banana bread, avocado toast, homemade squash soup, and a platter of fresh berries. We also had the most adorable cookies and cake from Sprinkle and Whisk for everyone to enjoy.
Not to mention, we had bottles of Sandhill rosé at the ready and a dedicated mimosa bar … because what would a sip and see without some wine and bubbly??
Jillian had requested no gifts in exchange for donations Mamas for Mamas, however, a few people still brought a few sentimental gifts which were so heartfelt and beautiful. For Annie’s Sip & See we thought it would be cute to gift each of the GUESTS a sweet little goodie bag filled with some of Jillian’s favourite items. instead!! We wanted to keep the items minimal, meaningful, and elegant … not to mention, Jilly-esque! The items in each of the goodie bags included a Chelsea King scrunchie, a candle from Vancouver Candle Company, rose scrub from Sealuxe, and face mists from Saje!
It was a very relaxing, calm, and enjoyable sip & see, it was the perfect way for everyone to mingle and get their baby fix in … not to mention indulge in some amazing treats and leave with a little something to treat themselves with over the long weekend.

This is beautiful! I have a question. Our second little babe is due in March and I would love to try and set one of these parties up. Did you wait a certain time before hosting a party? I’m a nurse and worried about germs and the tail end of flu season here. Or did you just stay laid back about it. I’m so trying to channel your relaxed energy this time around. With the first I definitely had tons of postpartum anxiety!!

Thanks for sharing! I’m so envious of the grandmas and great grandma being able to share in the kids every day life. The pics are beautiful and will be treasures to look back on. I have a 2 year old grandson and 1 month old granddaughter who live in West Kelowna and I’m on Vancouver Island. I lost my mom 2 years ago so these pics really speak to me. Keep on loving ?
