I remember when I was a little chicka I would change my outfit 5 times+ per day… yes, I had a LOT of different looks going on!!! My granny used to give me grief when she would see me mixing so many different colours & patterns, styles & fabrics… let’s just say I was a colourful child in more way than one 😉
And, although I love my granny, I’m gonna break her heart a little here and BOLDLY break all her rules.
I think the most amazing thing about fashion today is that – truthfully – ANYTHING & EVERYTHING goes!!! I can TRULY bring out the inner little Jilly Bean and make my 8 year old self PROUD. (Isn’t that what we should all grow up to do???) Mix & match patterns, textures, & styles and don’t be afraid to make a serious statement.
I absolutely loved rocking these loud trousers with their bright colours & eclectic abstract demask pattern. Paired with this sweet feminine blouse with its subtle sheen & peek-a-boo floral look and with my simple cream slouchy blazer, the most perfect easygoing & sunny summertime look was created.
Be BRIGHT & BOLD & BADASS… break those old rules!!
