It’s crazy to think that a New Year is upon us already! I’m still asking myself where 2018 went but I’m excited to see what 2019 has in store for everyone … but first, we have to make sure we ring in the New Year in style … right?!
Whether you’re heading out for a party, or having people at your place, there are a few tips and tricks when it comes to dressing for the big night (unless you prefer to stay in your PJ’s … which I might very well be doing!) and styling your home for your guests!

1. Sparkles
Is it really a New Year’s celebration without SPARKLES?! Sparkles are the PERFECT way to spice things up when it comes to your NYE outfit! 2. Accessories
Speaking of accessories, these really are a fantastic way to dress up any outfit! Whether you’re going for fun statement earrings (opens in a new tab) or a chunky necklace (opens in a new tab), you’ll take your look from a 6 to a 10 quickly with some bold jewelry.
3. Gold Accents
Gold is my go-to when decorating for NYE, it’s so classy and timeless, not to mention, it immediately makes any tablescape or room look super fancy! I love setting the table with gold cutlery (opens in a new tab), incorporating gold cheese knives (opens in a new tab), coasters (opens in a new tab), bottle stoppers (opens in a new tab), you name it!
4. Cocktail Staples
This is just a must! LOL! Besides having the booze, I also like to switch up our glassware and get a little fancy!
