I went to one of my first events since I’ve been pregnant this week … can you believe it!! Not that there haven’t been any to attend but since I’ve been pregnant I just enjoy nesting at home and snuggling up in bed. I have been working LONG days on set (trying to get as much in as we can before the little bean pops out) and by the time I get home I am POOPED!!! But anyways … the event got me thinking … WHAT do you wear to an event when your pregnant!?!?! … dresses!!!!
This dress is NOT a maternity dress … I repeat it is NOT a maternity dress!!! I found it at Nordstrom Rack along with a few others. But it totally works with the bump … and so do the others (linked below!). This one is loosey goosey, a soft material, a pastel colour and PERFECT for summer!!! The dress code of the event was “farm chic” so I paired it with a jean jacket and little booties …. what do you think??

I think I would stick with dresses dresses dresses! I love the fitted look too, showcase that belly! I’m only 7 weeks, do you have any suggestions for the awkward stage where I can’t fit into anything because of the bloating?? I’ve been living in my lulus and feel FAR from fashionable these days!

Love your fits Jillian…looking damn good for a pregnant mommy to be…Yes without buying too much in maternity wear..you can just buy 1-2 sizes up in clothing(mostly all )..but nonetheless you look wonderful…have a question tho? When can we expect to see you on the Love it or List it Vancouver shows preggers?
