Here we are in 2022 still obsessing over loungewear, but instead of your typical matching sweatsuit, I’ve been loving elevated basics! I don’t know about you, but I love nothing more than a soft and cozy new crewneck t-shirt. In my opinion, it’s an elevated basic that you can never have too many of, and I am currently loving this Dusty Rose Classic Crewneck Tee from Franc! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the brand, Franc makes sustainable basics ethically in Canada for people fed-up with unfairly made fast fashion so that they can enjoy a conscious wardrobe built on timeless basics. I don’t know about you, but it’s so tough to find anything made in Canada these days, and I have peace of mind shopping from Franc knowing that from fabric to final basic, everything on Franc’s website is entirely made in Canada!
Speaking of basics, I don’t know about you, but I can never have too many pairs of underwear or socks! Funny story, I just replaced all of my underwear because the last time I actually purchased them for myself was well before I had Annie! 😂

You can also never go wrong with jewelry (am I right?!) and if you follow me on Instagram you know that I LOVE my JH x Melanie Auld Adorned necklace, you can rarely find me without it on (even in the shower!). Ok, I came across this Le Creuset Heart Cocotte and couldn’t resist including it in this Valentine’s Day round-up! If you have someone in your life that loves to cook, this would make for the PERFECT gift!
For the past few years, I have been raving about these Estelle Colored Wine Glasses and they’ve become such a household staple, while they are on the pricier side, they are hand-blown and totally worth every penny if you ask me.

First up is The 5 Minute Journal, while I don’t have a copy myself people I know are raving about it, plus it looks great on a nightstand too! In my humble opinion, you can never have too many candles, I quite literally have dedicated shelves in our house for my collection and I would be overjoyed to receive another one, especially this farmhouse scent from Canvas Candle Co.
Another awesome home decor gift would be this heart doormat, especially for the person who just moved or has a new home. Last but not least, I don’t think there is a more fitting gift than this adorable planter (don’t forget the plant to go with it!).

If you read my New Years Resolution blog post you know I am working hard to go back to eating plant-based and I am SO happy that one of my favourite chocolates, Vegan Sweet Georgia Browns from Purdys Chocolatier is now VEGAN! It’s made with crunchy roasted pecans, soft vegan caramel, and a generous dollop of creamy Vegan Mylk chocolate.
You’re probably thinking “vegan caramel” how is that possible… well Purdys has nailed it by taking apple cider and coconut milk, and cooking it to perfection to make a chewy, unbelievably buttery-tasting vegan caramel.
