Food Friday: Grapefruit Jalepeño Margaritas

With Cinco de Mayo coming up, I thought I would continue to share more Mexican inspired recipes! The weekend is calling my name…so margaritas it is!! These SUPER yummy Grapefruit Jalepeño Margaritas are always a hit! Serve these up on the rocks in mason jars or a traditional Margarita glass just like in Mexico! These cocktails are insanely easy to make and even more delicious. Yum!!

Makes 6-8 Servings

Ingredients

6 cups of pink grapefruit juice
2 fresh squeezed limes
1 diced jalepeño
2 cups of pineapple juice (for sweetness)
1 egg white (TRUST me… ALL the GOOD Margaritas have raw egg white in them… bet you didn’t know that!) if you are vegan you can omit but it really ‘MAKES’ the margarita
1 cup (or more! lol) of premium tequila
1/4 cup of triple sec
Himalayan Pink salt for rim!

Cheers to a sun-filled weekend!

  1. Can you please instruct me on how to prepare the marg with the egg white? Do I just dump it on in or do I have to froth it?
