Girls Gone Maui…Part 2!!!

Right where we left off…SO..Part 2…I mean we did do A LOT of lounging and relaxing but I have created a to do list JUST for you with the must stop’s and shop’s along the way!!! Enjoy….

3. TO DO

ALI’I KULA LAVENDER FARM – If you love lavender as much as I do then this is a must do!!!

LUAU – I have been to three now and I always find them SO interesting and authentic. Where else would you be able to watch something so impressive and be able to pig out on good eats!! This time I went to the Old Lahaina Luau and found it to be the best one yet!

PAIA & MAKAWAO – adorable little shopping town!

KULA FARMS – who knew that Maui ALSO nails the pumpkin patch!

GRANDE WAILEA (Spa Grande)  – ALL of us girls have been to MANY spas in the last few years and this one takes the cake. I don’t love a super modern space when it comes to a spa so don’t expect new and modern… ut do expect old world euro, where you get scrubbed down by the most wonderful Finnish woman (who has been scrubbing boobies for 19 years now) prior to your treatment. If you want, you can come a whole hour early and enjoy these fabulous little mineral pools (that claim to kick anxiety, cellulite, exhaustion, fat, debt (kidding) pretty much anything you DON’T want) it truly is SUCH an experience. If you are as close as friends as we are…you can do a couples treatment … Karissa and I did the Coconut Bliss … just read the menu to get an idea of how that went over, lets say we were awarded the funnest ‘couple’ in a couples treatment room ever. Afterwards if you are hungry and ready to eat your arm from the big day at the spa, just walk over to their little ‘bistro’ for some fresh and tasty eats. (and not too expensive!) Check it out here!

4. NIGHT LIFE

TROPICA – if you’re staying at the Westin, this is a great place to relax in the evening and take in the sunset with a few cold one’s in hand. And, it’s right on the beach…what could be better!?

MULLIGANS – who doesn’t love a good Irish Bar with an even better Happy Hour!?

DOG AND DUCK – this place is the friendliest Irish pub on the Island!!! And with me being the biggest fan of Irish pubs…this one is pretty up there on the list!!!

5. SHOP 

SHOP MAHINA – cute little boutique that offers free shipping world wide!!! I found so many cute, comfy and affordable outfits!!!

PAIA & MAKAWAO –  adorable little shopping town!

SWIMCO – I did almost ALL of my shopping at SWIMCO in Vancouver before I left to make sure I had the cutest bikini’s on the beach. I seriously fell in love with every single one and lived in them the ENTIRE trip!!!
