Keeping It Business Casual

It is half way through February (I know, I can’t believe it either) and it is back to work and back to the daily grind for most of us. Going back to the office doesn’t need to mean boring … you can still dress cute and stylish while looking sharp and professional. Is it just me or is office attire turning more and more casual?? Maybe it’s just here in Vancouver and Kelowna (you tell me)??? But, I’m noticing women dressing down and turning their outfits “business casual”.

Take these LOFT chino pants for example … they look adorable with a funky pair of flats and a cardigan but would also look GREAT with a pair of heels and a blazer. Since it’s the weekend, I’ve dressed the entire outfit down by mixing it with a fringe cardigan and simple cami. Whichever you choose to wear them will work perfectly in the office and transfer over nicely to cocktails and dinner in the evening!! It just depends on your style …

  1. I would love to know the style of your Kate Spade bag…I’ve been looking for a nice big bag like this one! (Or if you have other large bag recommendations…) Thank you!!

    1. Hey! Her bag is the Kate Spade Kendal Court Hughes bag! Dont think they make that one anymore. But the Cedar Street ones are similar! I would suggest going into the Kate Spade store and showing them the picture. Thats what I did and they found one for me that wasnt on the website that was pretty much identical!

  2. Super cute – I was eyeing those chinos in Loft last week. But here is the real question – can we talk bra? What kind of bra is best under this kind of cami? I have the same question about under a white t-shirt. I don’t like the bra line that I get in the front. What can you recommend??

  3. Literally everything on this blog is #goals. I especially love the fashion aspect and how it showcases outfits in which you don’t need to break the bank. Love the simplicity as well. Simply gorgeous!

  4. yes! but mine is jeans here in California – like SUPER casual … maybe a little TOO casual 🙂 This is why I love your blog – I have similar pants/shoes in my closet but wouldn’t have thought to pair them.

  5. I need these shoes, do you have the link to the pair you are wearing? Not the look a liked! Thanks 🙂
