Last night’s episode of Love It Or List It Vancouver was definitely one of my favourite reveals to date. I mean look at that VIEW!!!!! Their home had SO much potential, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it!! How could you not fall in love with this home again after I was done with it?!?!
Cathy moved into Peter’s dated, beachfront bachelor pad 2 years ago. You could tell that it had been slightly touched up here and there over the years, but nothing was consistent. First things first, entertaining was one of their top priorities. They needed a home that was quaint and relaxing for two but that could also host guests and dinner parties. We needed to open it up, move the fireplace out of the way from the gorgeous view and give them a modern yet beachy space that felt like HOME for both of them!!
They wanted a modern beach-front home for two and that’s exactly what I gave them … but with a Jilly touch!!! I am SO happy they decided to love it … I might be moving in!
The gorgeous doors from Eclipse Architectural couldn’t have been more perfect for the space. They opened up seamlessly and beautifully onto the deck while saving space. If you are looking for a wall-to-wall door to open onto your patio these are a great option!
I love love loved this Zoe Pawlak area rug from Burritt Bros. It helped keep things bright, light and neutral while tying the space together and adding warmth.
