So, it has been a few years since Justin and I got engaged, and we STILL don’t have a wedding date! I mean, we thought we did, and then COVID threw us for a loop. But I’m sure one of these days we’ll eventually get married! LOL! Having said that, with an influx of end of Summer weddings… I’ve been scouring the internet for the perfect wedding guest dress and thought I would round up all of my faves!
1. Mini Wedding Guest Dresses
While I don’t tend to reach for mini dresses that often (at least not in my 40s!), I’ll be the first to admit that they are the perfect dress for hot summer days! Now, if you are hesitant to test out a tight mini-dress, why not go for a mini baby doll style? This style is perfect for beating the heat … and quite forgiving after you’ve hit up the buffet table! LOL!
2. Midi Wedding Guest Dresses
I LOVE midi dresses! I find that this style is the most flattering for my body shape and not to mention they are the perfect style for Summer weddings. Midi dresses can fit a casual wedding vibe or even a more formal wedding dress code too.
3. Maxi Wedding Guest Dresses
Maxi dresses were made for formal weddings (in my opinion)! And as long as you are not attending an outdoor wedding and trekking through grassy fields, you can’t go wrong with a maxi dress!
Accessorize
The dress is not complete without finishing off the look with your favourite accessories whether that be some beautiful jewelry, a bag or clutch, and a nice pair of shoes!
