The end of November is here… and at my house, that means we have already decorated our holiday tree and are regularly baking & decorating holiday cookies. Yep, I will be living in heaps of glitter and cookie frosting for weeks to come! LOL. Although busting out the decorations is loads of fun, what excites me most about the changing seasons is the arrival of The Winter 2023 Jilly Box at each of your doorsteps! While we adults work so hard to make this season memorable for our friends and family… it’s easy to forget to treat ourselves during the busiest time of the year! Enter The Winter 2023 Jilly Box!
In this blog, I’m ECSTATIC to reveal all SEVEN items featured in this season’s box.
This box is about all things après ski. And no, it’s not just for the avid skier or snowboarder! Whether you spend your winter days out cruising the slopes or hanging out at the chalet, you will fall in love with what’s inside.

Avalon Puffer Jacket

All last winter, I wore a bright orange puffer jacket, designed by Canadian brand Noize, to watch Justin and the kids snowboard. I fell in love with every detail: the oversized fit, the stitching, the quality of the fabric, the warmth it provided even during long hours standing out in the cold… I could go on and on! When I learned more about the make & brand values, I became adamant that we had to include this jacket in The Winter 2023 Jilly Box. NOIZE specializes in affordable outerwear for all weather conditions and differentiates itself by being able to offer trendsetting, warm, and high-quality styles that are also vegan and sustainably produced.
Of course, Team Jilly Box then had the lofty task of figuring out how to physically fit a winter jacket into the box… (I’m pretty sure Jen, our CFO, thought I’d officially lost it! Haha!) but remarkably they made it work so that all of you could own a Noize jacket for yourselves!
Of course, we had to bring you this product with a Jilly Box twist! So, we worked collaboratively with Noize to bring you four EXCLUSIVE colours: Pink, Aero Blue, Black and Oatmeal!

Toques are a MUST for winter, and when Team Jilly Box and I discussed the possibility of designing one this season, we knew just the brand…
I was first introduced to Little Buck when they sent Leo a selection of snapbacks when he was a newborn! They are a Canadian brand founded and run by a couple on a mission to create the best hats for your little ones. They were moved to create Little Buck after their son, who was born prematurely at 32 weeks, did not fit any newborn hats available for purchase. So, a fashionable hat brand was born! They have since expanded to offer apparel for your minis and even a selection of curated goods (like graphic tees for adults & gift cards)!
The Backwoods Pom Toque included in your box is inscribed with the words “Après Ski,” which is a unique design EXCLUSIVE to The Jilly Box. You will have received it in one of two colours: Blue or Pink—which MATCH the pink and blue Noize jackets!!
Some other notable details about this vibrant toque are that it is Canadian-made, cruelty-free and eco-friendly!

Waking up to a pitch-black sky in the winter months can be a challenge. Something I’ve added to my morning routine that I love is starting my day with a steamy shower with one of these handmade, luxe shower steamers from Calgary-based brand All Things Jill. It seriously elevates your shower experience with the scent of eucalyptus, mint and lavender wafting through your bathroom. To use, place one steamer in the corner of your shower floor, out of the flow of water, and it will slowly dissolve, releasing invigorating essential oils into the air. AN HONEST ROOM
Alpine Bells

One of the best things about après ski is the cozy vibes of the ski lodge or cabin after a long day outdoors… I wish I could create that same ambiance at home…. With the Alpine Bells, you can! Bring a sense of warm nostalgia and rusticness to your space with the addition of these charming bells. This style of bells was originally used by cattle farmers to keep track of grazing herds in the Alps. Eventually, the bells became a winter staple when those same farmers used them to cheer on skiers!
These handmade, eco-friendly bells were created by a Canadian, women-owned brand called An Honest Room. They are a designer-owned home interior shop providing customers with quality, carefully sourced home goods. Their unique name derives from a quote by designer Billy Baldwin: “Stick to the things you really love. An Honest Room is always up to date.” In other words, when your home is filled with the things (and people) you hold dear, it’s an honest representation of who you are—and that never goes out of style. Ceramic Tealight Village

Something that always gets me in the mood for the winter season is decorating the house! These adorable little houses from Indaba are Scandinavian-inspired and handmade! Indaba is a Vancouver Island-based home and lifestyle brand with an eye for sourcing beautifully crafted products. Founder Irene Held, inspired by her South African roots & love for handicrafts, aspires to share beautifully crafted, handmade designs from around the world with her local clientele.
When our team was introduced to this charming ceramic tealight village, it took me back in time! I remember setting up little holiday villages when I was a kid, and these are elevated versions of those. You can add a tea light in the back, and it will light up beautifully, or you can string lights through the hole in the bottom! These are perfect for tablescapes, fireplace mantels, or wherever your heart desires.
