13 Kitchen Accessories That I Simply Can’t Live Without!

I don’t know about you, but ringing in the New Year always has me feeling motivated to get back on track. Whether that is starting a new workout regime, organizing and cleaning our home, eating healthy, and mayyyybe drinking a little less wine! πŸ€ͺ I have a feeling I will be spending more time in the kitchen over these next few months so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to round up my favourite kitchen accessories that I simply can’t live without!

Let’s get right to it!

1. KitchenAid Mixer

First up, is the one and only KitchenAid Mixer. I finally got my hands on one for Christmas and it definitely lives up to the hype!

2. Emile Henry Bread Cloche

If you followed my sourdough chronicles throughout 2020 you probably saw this one coming. I LOVE the Emile Henry bread cloche! Not only does it bake a perfect loaf of bread every time, but it looks oh so pretty displayed on your stove-top!

3. Crock

While this isn’t necessarily a kitchen gadget, it’s one of my favourite countertop accessories because it’s decorative and functional! I love to keep it on the counter near the stove to store all of my kitchen utensils so they are close by and easy to find!

4. Compost Bin

Another countertop fave is this compost bin from Footprints Co. in Kelowna. It’s the perfect size to place right beside your sink and it doesn’t look like your average compost bin! In fact, it’s pretty enough to keep out so you don’t forget to use it!

5. Bamboo Dish Scrub Brush

Another simple but can’t live without kitchen staple is this bamboo dish scrub brush! This scrub brush is perfect for a quick and effective cleanup while on the move!

6. Marble Paper Towel Holder

Simple, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to use. I love this marble paper towel holder from Williams Sonoma!

7. Dinner Bell

While this isn’t a necessary kitchen staple, I love the vintage vibe this dinner bell brings to the space. Plus, it’s fun to ring when dinner is ready! πŸ˜‚

8. Vitamix Blender

Another small kitchen appliance that I can’t live without is our Vitamix blender!! Not only is it perfect for smoothies, but it also makes piping hot soup!

9. KitchenAid Toaster

This kitchen appliance is small but it sure is mighty! To be honest, I don’t think I have ever loved a toaster as much as I love this one!!

10. Citrus Squeezer

I don’t know about you, but a citrus squeezer is a staple in our house. I find that this one is not only easy to use, but it is super easy to clean too!

11. Salt Cellar

I love this little salt cellar from The Cross Design + Decor. It looks gorgeous beside the stovetop and comes in handy when cooking, talk about a win-win!

12. Cookbook and Cookbook Stand

I couldn’t share this post without mentioning the Friache Food Full Hearts cookbook! And one of my all-time favourite cookbook accessories is this cookbook stand from Primrose Lifestyle.

13. Miele Coffee Machine

The best of the best small kitchen appliance is this Miele coffee machine. While it is on the pricier side, it is my all-time favourite purchase to date!
