By now you all know about my love for Minted AND my love for Holiday decor … well, my friends, those worlds have COLLIDED!! If you don’t know by now, Minted has launched their Holiday Home Collection and it’s freakin adorable!!
They released four different colour schemes which include reversible tree skirts, personalized stockings, pillows, throws, and garlands. PLUS Minted wrapping paper for under the tree!! Eeepp!! Today I’m sharing four of my holiday decorating tips and tricks with you along with MY FAVOURITE items from Minted Holiday Home Collection as well as a quick peek at their 8 different collections!
Let’s get this started!! When it comes to decorating your home for the holidays, consider these 4 holiday decor tips!
1. Mix and Match
When it comes to simple holiday decorating don’t be afraid to mix patterns, colours and textures, often times people tend to stick to one colour theme but you’d be pleasantly surprised when you mix things up a bit!
2. Get Creative
Don’t be afraid to have a little fun and get creative when it comes to decorating your home for the holidays! Incorporate some fun felt garland, try new colours and go for patterns you wouldn’t normally choose!
3. Pillow Covers are Key
Many of you know my love for throw pillows and the reason WHY I love them so much is the fact that you can swap out the covers with every season for a quick new look!
4. Bring the Outdoors In
It’s always nice to incorporate natural elements into your decor, whether it’s pinecones in a vase or in a bowl on your table, or cedar boughs lining your railing, don’t forget about the things you can find right in your backyard!
