If you follow along with me on Instagram, you’ll know that the girls and I just got back from a blogging conference in Dallas! I actually had to present at the conference and then I attended a few learning sessions with the girls, we had some awesome meetings and made some great (unforgettable) memories in the meantime … one of them being, me taking out an entire row of bikes and coming out with a skinned knee and a bruised ego … LOL!! Don’t worry, there’s footage of that and it will be included in our Dallas recap vlog which should be ready to share with you in a few weeks. Hence why I said “unforgettable” memories … thanks girls … I think. LOL!
Anyway, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the outfits I wore in Dallas so I thought I would take the time to share them with you today considering many of them are selling out FAST!! I should mention here that NONE of these dresses are actual maternity dresses (even though they totally worked with my bump!), they are all regular dresses that I ordered online!!
I am in love with the colour and fit of this dress along with the details, such as the eyelet cut-outs and scalloped accents! It looks as though this dress is almost sold out in the mustard colour but it’s STILL available in the colour, mist!
This adorable dress is from Rachel Parcell’s collection, I find it so timeless and classy! This is the type of summer outfit that you can dress up or down for any occasion! I loved pairing this dress with pink heels for a pop of colour and of course, the Leo vegan faux fur foldover clutch from Style for the Priv.
We had a fiesta themed cocktail party at the conference and this midi dress was so perfect for the evening … even though I couldn’t indulge in any margarita’s I certainly had my fair share of churros! LOL! This dress is already so detailed, all you have to do is pair it with nude heels and some statement earrings (like the tassel earrings from Melanie Auld that I’m wearing in this photo!) and you have yourself a killer outfit!
This dress is so FREAKIN comfy and so flattering (with or without the baby bump!) I can already tell it’s going to be my go-to summer staple this year! Ps. How cute is this straw tote?? It’s from a company called Mad About Style and all of us girls brought them with us to Dallas and we received SO MANY compliments on them!! I believe they’re available for pre-order right now but they’re definitely worth the wait if you’re on the hunt for the perfect summer tote!
This is another dress by Rachel Parcell and unfortunately, it’s all sold out at the moment and I’m not sure if she plans on restocking it (I’ve gone ahead and linked a couple of similar options for you below!) but I would keep my eye out for it just in case she does because it’s so damn cute! I actually had mine slightly altered, I shortened the torso section to tighten up the hemline! So if you do end up purchasing this dress, just keep in mind that the entire waist is a few inches longer than what you see in my photos!!
What is your favourite look from the dresses above?? Make sure to share your thoughts below in the comments section and stay tuned for our upcomingDallas Recap vlog!!
