A Special Welcome for Our Littlest Guests: Kids Wedding Welcome Bags

When you’ve been engaged for eight years, naturally it ends up that many of your friends and family have had babies since the initial engagement. So, it’s safe to say that the number of children on our guest list quadrupled over the years LOL. Having all of the kids in our lives with us on our wedding day was very important to us. Of course, I wanted to give them a little welcome gift to take home, and I think they turned out SO CUTE!

In case you missed it, I shared all the details on the Adult Wedding Welcome Boxes, so be sure to check that blog out here!

Here’s everything I included:

Disney Surprise Scented Squishmallow

You know how much our family loves Disney and our kids are OBSESSED with Squishmallows, so including them in the children’s wedding welcome gifts was a no-brainer! Squishmallows are such a great gift idea, they’re all so cute. *gifted

Mattel Games

Mattel was kind enough to send us Uno and various card games for every kid at the wedding! These were such a hit and are perfect for long travel days, which a few of our guests had after the wedding! *gifted

Dough Parlour Play Dough

Dough Parlour is a favourite in our family, and they contributed sets of Wedding Cake and Peaches play dough to our gift bags! If you’re looking for birthday or holiday gift ideas for kiddos, check this brand out. *gifted

Joe Fresh x Crayola x Life at Home Water Bottles

You may have seen me share this partnership on Instagram a month or so ago, but Joe Fresh and Life at Home collaborated with Crayola to design some adorable retro-inspired water bottles! They were the perfect addition to each gift, just in time for back-to-school. *gifted

The Cross Jelly Cat Mini Stuffies

The Cross is local, Canadian brand I have loved for YEARS now. They sent us the cutest Bride Egg and Groom Egg Jelly Cats, which all the kids loved. *gifted

A few other treats we included were cotton candy, ring pops, sour candy and a pool water toy! The pool water toy was such a great addition, since all the wedding guests joined us for a dock party at the farm the day after the wedding, which was SO fun.

I had the best time putting these gift bags together for all the amazing kids in our lives, a huge thank you to the brands who partnered with us on this sweet little project. We had lots of other fun touches throughout the weekend to make the kids feel special, I’ve included some photos below… let me know if you’d like me to post a video with all of the details!
