Aloha Coconut Smoothie

I have just touched down in New York and all I am craving is this healthy coconut smoothie created by Fraiche Nutrition. This is a must try if you’re like me and love a good tropical twist on everything. Not to mention it’s totally healthy and a great way to sail into fall sans extra baggage aka a cold or the sniffles!!!

Ingredients: (serves 1)

½ cup diced frozen banana
¾ cup chopped frozen pineapple
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
1 cup Thirsty Buddha Coconut Water
1 Tbsp. liquid coconut oil or melted coconut oil (optional)

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

What other healthy smoothie recipes do you have to share with me?!?!

  1. I adore all things tropical and this sounds delish — like a health piña colada! I love adding coconut oil to my smoothies as well. It’s so creamy and helps our bodies absorb all those fat soluble vitamins. Pinning!

  2. My favourite smoothie of all is almond Milk, Spinach, ice and a banana. I sometimes add vanilla protein powder when I need it. My measurements are all over the place. Because I make for my family or sometimes just me.

  3. this sounds delish and i will try it. My go to smoothie in the morning right now is 1 cup Almond Milk 1/2 banana 4 strawberries 2 ice cubes and a scoop of protein powder.
