Dad’s Day DIY

Hope you had a great weekend!… for me, it was SO much fun bringing Justin back to Alberta! But now it’s time to get back at it, so let’s talk Dad’s Day!…

If you’re on a budget or you want to do something really sentimental for dad this year – check out this DIY by @danavaleria, she did this for her family and I LOVE IT!!

Thumbprint Family Tree DIY

What you need:

A loving Family;)

Ink pad in 2 or three different colors, I used: Memento ink pads from Michaels

Quality paper (many sheets for trial and error)

You can get a print of a tree off the internet or just improvise

She wrote the name of everybody in her family down, got control of the “final look” and then everybody used their index finger to make leaves. She said she tried it using thumbs first but it didn’t look as nice .. give it a try, it’s such a great way to show dad how much you care!  And let me know how ours turns out too!

Remember… this coming weekend is all about DAD… treat him extra special!
