My Darjeeling Cocktail Recipe

It’s easy to get in a rut with what we eat and drink and not know how to get creative in the kitchen again. Then, suddenly, you travel or walk a different way to work and BOOM you’ve got inspiration.

While my team and I were attending The Oak Bay Beach Hotel Wellness Weekend in January, we decided to do a bit of exploring of the nearby shopping area during one of our mid-day breaks. While walking along Oak Bay Avenue (if you haven’t been shopping there, it’s a MUST!!), we stumbled across this stylish French restaurant called Vis a Vis. The interior and exterior design of the restaurant was SO charming… we just HAD to give the restaurant a go! Some of us in our group decided to try their Darjeeling Cocktail, and WOW, did it ever impress. So, naturally, we decided to try making our very own when we got back to Kelowna.

A quick heads up about the recipe: brewing the tea takes a little bit of prep, but trust me, it is SO with it! I love how this turned out – it’s fragrant, zesty, not too sweet, and so easy to sip on! Try it out and tell me what you think!!
