“Miss Harris’s 12 Day Giveaway has just begun! So gather ‘round dear viewers for the gift on day one…”
That’s RIGHT!! It’s officially DAY 1 of Jilly’s 12 Days of Giving Campaign!!! For those of you who may be new to this, 13 YEARS AGO I started the 12 Days of Giveaways as a way to thank all of YOU for being so amazing and supportive all of these years. It has become one of my favourite holiday traditions and my team and I have such fun coming up with the theme and treating you to the selection of prizes.
So, how does it work? Each and every day from December 1st to December 12th we will be announcing our featured brand, sharing the details of their giveaway and how to enter so you have a chance to win a lineup of amazing prizes! In total this year, we will be giving away 57 prizes valued at just over $73,000 dollars CAD!! To learn more about how it works, read our FAQs here.
We are especially excited to share that this year, $5,000 from each and every brand will be going toward our Sponsored Families campaign! This has become a tradition that I hold close to my heart. Each and every year, we sponsor families within our community who are experiencing economic insecurity over the holiday season, because giving to others is what the holidays are all about. Thanks to your participation in our 12-Day Campaign year after year, we have been able to also grow our Sponsored Families campaign! I can’t wait to share more details with you about these contributions at the end of the 12 days.
So, let’s get to it and announce our very first prize!
With this $1,000 shopping spree at Confluence, you can purchase things like an Anian buffalo check blanket, Sangre de Fruta botanical body wash, Warren Steven Scott earrings, or anything else from their store that your heart desires! And, of course, this prize includes a fabulous 3-night stay at Nimmo Bay during their Nature and Nurture Season, including travel from Vancouver, all valued at just over …. $15,000!!
If this is the first time you are hearing of Confluence, let me tell you a bit about this incredible brand!! Confluence started as an onsite gift shop that recently launched as an online store. The team at Nimmo Bay carefully hand-picks each item that they sell and decided to make the leap to e-commerce to give people the opportunity to take more of Nimmo Bay home with them. Plus, now they can share those beloved products with their greater audience.
Confluence embodies the same three pillars of Nimmo Bay: Adventure, Wellness, and Culinary, and each thoughtfully curated product falls into one of those categories. Over the last year, Confluence has developed a strong voice of its own, prioritizing values that support local and sustainable businesses, and aims to put female, indigenous, minority-owned, and local businesses in the spotlight. The few products that fall outside of those boundaries are tried-and-true staples that are tested thoroughly in the wild at Nimmo Bay by their team and guests.
Through Confluence, the goal is to empower you to treat yourself or your loved ones, while making a positive impact and supporting others. Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift for an outdoorsy adventurer, a culinary enthusiast, a lover of interior design, or for someone who needs a little extra self-care, Confluence has you covered.
About Nimmo Bay
Nimmo Bay, on the other hand, is a family-owned and operated remote resort, located in the heart of British Columbia’s wild Great Bear Rainforest. This luxury retreat offers world-renowned customized wilderness, wildlife, culinary and wellness experiences. Guests of Nimmo Bay will find themselves exploring the beautiful wilderness either on land, on water, or by sky. The intimate resort is nestled into the serene bay, giving guests the opportunities to connect with themselves, to those around them, and to nature in a meaningful way.
As you may remember, a couple of years ago Justin, Tori, Charles, and I took an unforgettable trip to Nimmo Bay! We plunged into the ocean, enjoyed a couple’s massage and meditation, visited a floating sauna, and SO much more! While our trip was filled with fun activities, the landscape itself at Nimmo Bay is so STUNNING that I’m convinced we would have had the best time just soaking up the views and connecting over a glass of wine. No itinerary needed! If you want a full recap of our experience, read more about our trip here!
I am SO EXCITED for one of you to have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to escape to Nimmo Bay for a 3-night stay during the inaugural 2023 Nature and Nurture Season. Emerge from winter hibernation as the wild wakes up and soak up the fresh sights and sounds of spring. This season is perfect for unwinding and taking a much-deserved opportunity to fully relax, with the added excitement of being one of the first guests of the year to step on the docks at Nimmo Bay.
During the Nature and Nurture season, experience Nimmo Bay’s relaxed, yet attentive and warm hospitality. Feel completely at home in one of the 6 waterfront cabins and choose from a selection of daily wild adventures offered during the trip. Or, take the opportunity to slow down and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells that Nimmo Bay has to offer. I just have one question for you … CAN I COME??!
