If you’re looking for ideas to ease the shopping process, you are going to ADORE this blog. So, grab your drink of choice, like my famous Gluhwein (in my cookbook), because here is a list of items that I own and love and some that are on my wishlist this year.

Kicking my Holiday Gift Guide off with Apparel!! You know I love a cute outfit to brighten my mood any time of year, so I wanted to share with you some of my favourite things. It wouldn’t be a Jilly Gift Guide without a mention of Smash + Tess; their Rompers are my go-to, especially when I need a day of rest and want to get cozy by the fireplace.
Of course, some days, I do in fact have to get dressed and go outside (LOL). And, on those days I like to layer. Starting things off simply with my favourite white graphic tee from my Joe Fresh collection because it really does go with everything! I JUST purchased this gorgeous Ten Tree Eco Loft Long Line Jacket, which will be great to wear under my winter coat to keep warm, and I’m also planning on wearing my JH x Joe Fresh Rosé Coat to get to and from Holiday parties! On days when I feel like I need a splash of colour instead, I opt for this Province of Canada Handscript Sweater, which was featured in our Fall 2022 Jilly Box!
Now, for the shoes! You’ve heard me rave about this pair of shoes before, but here I go again… the J.Crew Nordic Boots!! I LIVE in these at this time of year, and the good news is they are ON SALE!! (Run don’t walk, am I right??). If those boots are a bit out of your budget, a more affordable alternative would be these Lace-Up Boots from Joe Fresh.
If you’re looking for a gift for someone that is scent-obsessed, look no further than Jo Malone London. I absolutely LOVE their Wood Sage and Sea Salt scent. I am constantly getting compliments on my perfume when I wear this scent. I can’t recommend it enough!!!
If you’re looking for a gift that your friend/family member will use every day, these two products are sure to be winners: Genesis’s Sérum Anti-chute Fortifiant and JVN’s Blowout Styling Milk. I recently added these products to my hair care routine because as someone who likes to style her hair with hot tools the Genesis Serum is great for strengthening hair and combatting that heat damage and the JVN Styling Milk acts as an excellent heat protectant.
There’s something so romantic about gifting someone a piece of jewellery for the holidays. *Sigh* If you’re looking for a piece that your loved one can wear any time of day, then fine gold jewellery from Melanie Auld is the way to go. I have been trying to convince everyone to start purchasing fine gold over other forms of jewellery because of its durability. Oh, and most exciting of all, Melanie Auld is having a SALE from November 21st to the 28th: 15% off fine jewellery and 25% off Vermeil/ Sterling Silver!
Now, full disclosure: I have long been on a quest for the PERFECT handbag. I own some Ela Handbags and was so happy with the ones I own that I decided to do a little wandering on their website. When I came across this taupe belt bag from Ela Handbags I HAD to place my order and include it in my Holiday Gift Guide. Like, how stunning is this?! I can’t wait to wear it to the flower market in the spring and summer. I’m such a fun of belt bags because they’re like a fancier fanny pack, allowing me to be hands-free when I’m running errands with the kids.
You know I LOVE wine, so naturally, a local bottle from Sandhill Wine had to make the list. Gift your besties this elegant bottle to say “thank you!” or “I love you” and they’re sure to be impressed. For some time now, I have been a fan of Estelle Rose’s glassware.
When gifting my friends a bottle of wine for the holidays I like to make the gift a little extra special by pairing it with a wine glass, like this Estelle Colored Wine Stemware. These wine glasses are also such a special piece; they’re hand-blown and made by glass artisans in Poland. They come in a variety of stunning colours, but I am especially a fan of this Rose hue. And, apparently I’m not the only one who’s a BIG FAN of the outstanding quality of their glassware; Estelle Colored Glass has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Oprah Magazine and more.
And, what would the holidays be without cooking? As a gesture of thanks to the rockstar cook in your life, go for this Pink Stockpot from Le Creuset (that I swear by!). I also just received this Kilne Everything Pan that I can’t wait to test out!! The pan is made in Italy and has a beautiful matte colour finish. It’s even non-stick so you’re not spending FOREVER trying to clean your dish after a meal. It would be a perfect gift for first-time homeowners.
If you’re looking to help someone get a little more confident in the kitchen, my cookbook is filled with lots of comforting recipes that are easy to follow and make hosting a breeze and would be a beautiful gift on its own or paired with the Kilne Everything Pan or Le Creuset Pot.
If you’re looking for the perfect stocking stuffer to go with your Christmas morning breakfast, look no further than this delicious Canada West Maple Syrup! I don’t know about you but Christmas morning breakfast is a BIG DEAL in our household, so any little gift that contributes to the fun of that meal is a big win!
Something I LOVE to give to my friends is a print from my Mom. I’m so proud of my Mom’s journey of opening her Etsy shop, and this Dreaming of Maui Giclee print always reminds me of the amazing memories our family has spent in Maui.
If you are looking to help out a friend or family member with decorations, as I’m sure you’ve heard I recently released the Jillian Harris x CANVAS Christmas Collection which I am so, SO proud of!! This collection has been over a year in the making and is all about nostalgia, and the design choices we made are such an ode to an earlier time. The pieces have been selling out SUPER fast, so this is a gift you will want to hop on quickly.
And, there you have it! My 2022 Holiday Gift Guide: a compilation of things I love and items I can’t wait to own!! Ultimately, while we’re having fun in this blog post sharing in the excitement of holiday gifts, a great gift is not measured by it’s cost; it’s value lies in the gesture. So, please do not feel discouraged if items in this list are not within your budget this year. There are so many amazing ways to show the people you love that you’re thinking of them that don’t cost a penny! I compiled a list of gifts that don’t cost a thing in another wonderful blog post that I hope you will also enjoy!
Wishing you and your families a wonderful holiday season filled with joy.
