Our Church Wedding Ceremony

What. A. Dream. We are still pinching ourselves and can hardly believe that this was actually real life. After 13 years together, endless laughs, tears, babies, pets, starting businesses, moves, and so many beautiful memories… WE’RE MARRIED!

This post is all about our church ceremony, which was so incredibly important to Justin and his family and my dad. While many of you know I’m not Catholic myself, Justin’s family is, and so is my dad, so having this ceremony felt deeply meaningful for us. What I didn’t expect was just how moving, heartfelt, and ceremonial it would be.

From the moment the church bells rang, we both felt chills. It’s hard to put into words how special it was. We worked closely with the priest to customize the liturgy so that the readings reflected us: our personalities and our journey. Sitting there, listening to those words in that beautiful church, surrounded by our favourite people, we felt so grounded in love and faith.

Seeing the kids be part of the ceremony made it even more magical. Every single detail was perfect.

We are endlessly grateful to our families and friends for supporting us over all these years (and for their patience as we planned, postponed, and re-planned this wedding… more than once! LOL). Thank you to our parents for teaching us what love and commitment look like, and for always being our biggest cheerleaders. And of course, thank you to the most incredible vendors and team who brought this ceremony to life—we couldn’t have done it without you.

Vendors & Dream Team

Our hearts are still exploding with love and gratitude. This part of our wedding was such a special way to honour our families and their faith. Every single second felt like a dream, and we’ll cherish it forever. 🤍
