Revealed: What Was Inside the VIP Swag Bags

When we started organizing the Mamas for Mamas VIP Lunch event we knew we wanted it to be bigger and better than last year and above all, we knew we REALLY wanted to spoil our guests. We are beyond appreciative of everyone who bid on a seat and donated whatever they could in hope of snagging a seat at the table so THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our online fundraiser!!

The 40 guests who ended up securing a seat at the table came from EVERYWHERE, from Saskatchewan, Ontario, Alberta and all over British Columbia! We knew they were travelling to get here to join us so we wanted to make the trip EXTRA special for them. So, in addition to bringing in Aaron Pritchett, Dean Brody, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Fraiche Nutrition (plus her incredible team), Team Jilly, and my cousins Stephanie and Sam … we also reached out to some of our all-time favourite brands to see if they would be willing to donate some products to the swag bags and they were so unbelievably generous in what they donated!

In fact, everyone was so generous that each of the 40 swag bags was valued at OVER $2,000 a piece!! How AMAZING is that?! We ended up handing out each of the swag bags at the end of the event as our guests were leaving as a fun surprise to open when they got back to their hotel rooms … I mean, it’s always nice to have a little wind-down celebration after a big event, right?!

Well, I know that some of you have been curious as to what was inside of those swag bags, so … today we’re going to unveil it for you along with an exclusive behind the scenes video from the massive day we had organizing each and every bag!!

Larsson & Jennings

You all know just how much I love my Larsson & Jennings watches soooo it was a no brainer that we wanted to include a beautiful watch in the swag bag for every guest. Larsson & Jennings donated a stunning rose gold watch to every bag!

withinUs

First things first … the withinUs team just celebrated their 5-year anniversary a couple of weeks ago and we want to pass along a HUGE CONGRATS to them for all of their community support, hard work, amazing products, and their support! Each of our guests got spoiled with their Matcha Misto, Collagen, ReHydrate, and TruOrganic Matcha!!

Smash + Tess

I mean … what would a swag bag be without a cozy romper you can jump right into after the event?! Smash + Tess donated their Saturday rompers (in Jillian Grey!) to each of the swag bags and they even gifted Aaron Pritchett and Dean Brody one of their male rompers …. because we couldn’t leave the guys out!

Project Skin

If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know that I’ve been going to Project Skin for the past 6 years for treatments … from facials to botox! Yes, the cat is out of the bag! LOL! They also just so happen to carry my all-time favourite skincare line, SkinCeuticals! Each and every guest went home with C E Ferulic (love this serum!!) and Physical Fusion UV Defense!

Pomme Salon

If you haven’t come across Pomme Salon and the #PommeSquad on Instagram … where have you been?! LOL! Pomme Salon here in Kelowna is famous for giving their clients beautiful sun-kissed Okanagan blonde hair! However, it’s not just for the blondes they also do amazing work on us brunettes as well … I can attest to that! LOL! Pomme Salon generously donated one of their Pomme Beauty Boxes to each of the guests (you can snag one for yourself here and $5 from every box goes to Mamas for Mamas!). These boxes are FILLED with professional hair products and tools!! Plus, Nicole from Pomme Salon also donated Kerastase luxury chronologist oil (personalized with our guest’s initials!), and a Kerastase plush robe to each swag bag!!

Saje Wellness

Tammy from the Saje Wellness store here in Kelowna (located in Orchard Park Mall!) reached out to us and offered to donate a Pocket Farmacy for each bag! For any Saje Wellness fans out there, you’ll know that this kit includes some of my all-time favourite essential oil rollers such as Peppermint Halo and Stress Release!!

Geri G Beauty

Just in case anyone needed a little touch-up after the event, Geri G Beauty gave each of our guests their best selling Universal Brow Pencil and their Seamless foundation kit which includes 3 core colors that can be used individually or blended for your perfect individual color during any season! This is made with Organic coconut oil and Vitamin E!

Fawn Design

That’s right!! Fawn Design donated their beautiful Original bags in a mix of colours including blush, brown, grey, coral, and sand! Originally we wanted to use these as our actual swag bags and fill it up with goodies but thanks to all of the amazing companies we had WAY too many incredible donations to fit in them!! Fawn Design bags are not only AMAZING diaper bags but they also make for the PERFECT bag for ANY woman out there, whether you’re a mama or not!

Okanagan Lifestyle

Okanagan Lifestyle is another incredible Kelowna based family-run company! They have super cozy and stylish apparel for both men and women and all of their apparel represents our gorgeous hometown! Okanagan Lifestyle donated their adorable Full Circle Mauve crewnecks to each bag!!

Shady Lady

If our guests are going to be spending the weekend in the Okanagan, they’re going to need a pair of stylish shades … right?! Well, that’s where Shady Lady comes into play! I mean … how awesome are these Hayley sunglasses in tortoise?! Yup, every single guest got a pair of these as well!

Melanie Auld

We asked each of our guests ahead of time if they preferred gold or silver because Melanie Auld generously offered to gift each guest with a necklace from the Jillian Harris x Melanie Auld Adorned collection and they each got a puffed heart charm! La Marca

I mean … what’s better than popping a little bubbly and sipping on it as you open up a swag bag?! Each of our guests got a mini bottle of La Marca prosecco in their swags bags to indulge in after the event!

The Cross Decor & Design

What would a swag bag be without something for your home from The Cross Decor & Design?! They sent us Mini Heart Prayer Beads for each of our guests and they’re nothing short of adorable! These make for the PERFECT coffee table decor!

Naked Snacks

We know how awesome it is to have snacks on hand when you’re on the go and that’s where Naked Snacks come into play! I actually have a few bags of Naked Snacks in my vehicle at all times in case I get peckish while running around doing errands! My FAVOURITE snack of theirs are the Sriracha Cashews … but be warned .. they are slightly addicting (in a good way, of course!!). LOL! Each of our 40 guests got TWO packs of snacks each … and I’m sure they came in handy for everyone after the event!

Vancouver Candle Co.

The stunning candles from Vancouver Candle Co. are handcrafted and made with premium soy wax and pure cotton wicks and they smell AMAZING!!! All of their candles are scented with natural essential oils and perfume grade fine fragrances … and Rosedale just happens to be my favourite candle of theirs! It fills your home with scents of Rose, Lilac, and Tuberose and it’s nothing short of dreamy!

Goldilocks Wraps

I’m sure many of you are already familiar with Goldilocks Wraps from my Instagram stories but in case this is your first time hearing about them, Goldilocks Wraps are reusable beeswax wraps that are eco-friendly and a brilliant alternative to plastic wrap! In fact, thanks to Goldilocks wraps, we have eliminated plastic wrap from our home! So, needless to say, I wanted to share these amazing wraps with all of our guests so they each went home with the pink floral wrap!

Surf Soak

This is another exciting company that you may have heard me talk about … Surf Soak is actually a company that Justin’s brother, Matt Pasutto, created!! It’s made with Canadian sea salt and hand harvested Salish Seaweed and their products are produced by hand in small batches on Vancouver Island, BC!  We included a pouch of their Sea Salt & Rose soak in each of the swag bags for the ladies to enjoy!

Jilly’s Boutique

If you’ve seen our front porch you may have noticed our “This is our happy place” sign above our doorbell … we get so many compliments on this little sign and luckily for us and our lunch guests, Jilly’s Boutique reached out to us and offered to donate these exact signs to everyone! For those of you who may not be familiar with Jilly’s Boutique, it’s a lifestyle and gift boutique located in Edmonton! If you’re in the area, make sure to pop by and check out their store, or feel free to shop their boutique online!

Cake Mama

The talented Izabela (aka The Cake Mama!!) made STUNNING personalized gluten-free cookies for each of our guests and they were SO PRETTY that we used them as part of our setting on the table so when our guests walked up to their seat they were greeted with one of Izabela’s delicious creations! She also whipped up some indulgent vegan macarons for the event that were to die for!!

Ps. If you don’t follow Izabela on Instagram, you should definitely do so … she is such a talented and inspiring plant-based baker … and she also hosts intimate cookie workshops throughout the year!! PLUS for those of you who live in the Okanagan … Izabela is MOVING TO KELOWNA!! That’s right, we totally lucked out and we can’t wait to welcome Izabela to her new home and join in on some of her upcoming workshops!

Uashmama

Did you notice the massive beautiful pink and white bags that all of the amazing swag bag items were displayed in?! These are solid paper baskets (with handles!) are from Uashmama! These baskets are not only perfect for gifting as they come in so many sizes and are reusable … but they’re also great to have around your home to store things in!

Dillon’s

Last but certainly not least, our friends at Dillon’s donated their drool-worthy Peach Bitters to each bag! Dillon’s is a small batch Canadian distillery located in Ontario! Check out all of their delish spirits, here!
