This weather has been AMAZING lately and all the fresh blooms in my garden inspired me to try out some new fragrances. I have to say, I am a bit obsessive when it comes to scents and fragrances. I believe there is a fragrance for every mood and with summer basically here I felt I could use a fresh new scent to match the new season.
With so many options available, shopping for fragrances can seem like a daunting task and I wanted to make this process as efficient as possible. So where did I end up…Sephora!!! Not only do I love their selection, I SO appreciate their customer service and the product knowledge of their beauty experts. I told them I was looking for something soft and sweet with a hint of floral so I smelled FRESH for summer, and these were some of their recommendations…
L’Impératrice by Dolce & Gabbana – This one I’ve had for a LONG time … it is one of my summer favourites, and if you haven’t smelled it yet, you absolutely need to…it literally smells like peach blossoms!!
Chloé Eau de Toilette – This perfume is like walking into a secret garden. Hints of peonies, freesias and lychee… MMM!!! So fresh, so summer! And again I have had this one for a while …
I also wanted to be sure that the perfumes I purchased were cruelty-free. It is sad to say but there weren’t as many cruelty-free perfumes as I had anticipated there would be. So I’ve done the research for you! Here are my top 2 cruelty-free fragrances you will absolutely love for summer.
REPLICA by Maison Martin Margiela – This scent was created to evoke a familiar but forgotten moment—a visit to a bustling flower market. I mean, come on! How dreamy is that? You can find hints of rose petals, Sambac jasmine, and tuberose with notes of cedar and moss. Talk about fresh!
Last but most definitely not least, the Cologne Absolue Travel Sprays by Atelier Cologne. These Sephora-exclusive fragrances are concentrated at 15 percent pure perfume to last you all day long. The best part is you can layer these scents to create your own unique fragrance. Some of my favourites are Orange Sanguine, Pomélo Paradis and Bergamote Soleil.

Ummm your photos are GORGEOUS!!!
After years of trying new fragrances I settled on Chanel No.5 Premiere.
The premiere fragrance has all the same scents as the original with different scents as the top notes.
It is lightly floral and the type of fragrance that is not over powering.
It is like a sign of affection up close.
I think I have found my signature scent. ?
