Hi everyone!! Well, that’s it, another season of The Bachelorette in the books and Becca is OFFICIALLY ENGAGED!! I’m not shocked that Becca chose Garrett in the end as he’s definitely head over heels for her and you can tell she thinks the world of him too!!
I thought Garrett absolutely killed it with Becca’s family last night, he was so sweet and really seemed to genuinely connect with everyone … although he was pretty emotional the entire time … which was actually pretty cute!! LOL!! I honestly do think Becca made the best decision for her. Garrett seems like he is in it for the long haul and they both seem truly happy. I mean … just look at those smiles!!
Now, while I’m excited for Becca and Garret … I can’t help but feel so sad for Blake!! I knew he wasn’t going to take it well and was actually worried about how he would feel if Becca turned him down. And then it happened, she dished the news to him and while hearts everywhere shattered … you could tell how much he was hurting just by looking at him!! I actually thought he was going to pass out a few times. Not only was he in the hottest outfit ever (who wears a suit in the Maldives?? Holy crap!!) … but he was sweating buckets THEN got dumped. How he stayed standing is a mystery to me!
However, having said that … I also feel as though Blake focused too much on Becca’s relationships with the other guys and unfortunately it sort of backfired on him. I think he got so tied up in his own mind about everything that he kind of forgot to just let it be, have fun, and go with the flow. Easier said than done though, right?! I mean we’ve ALL been there where we get too much in our own heads and overthinking does no one any good.
But this leaves us with the BURNING QUESTION … who will be the next Bachelor?! There are MANY people rooting for Blake but others are saying Jason, Colton … and even PETER from Rachel’s season!! Who do YOU want to see snag this?? Share your comments below … personally, I’m hoping for Jason!!

I would LOVE to see Jason as the next Bachelor. Colton would be my second choice. Anyone but Blake basically. Just not a fan.
I really want to see Blake as the bachelor. His story will make it a success. I liked James until the show was over and he was everywhere over promoting himself. I also do not think he has that wide an appeal.
I don’t think he will be but omg if it’s Peter, I might pass out. Dude is fine.

I loved all those guys…Peter and those eyes!!! But I agree, Jason is different and so full of personality! He’d be entertaining and perfect! Colton isn’t experienced enough as he has barely dated. Wills is pretty cute too!

I would like to see either Jason or Blake They are both stand up guys and I think they would be great to watch find the right person for them. Loved this season as Becca was real. Like you Jillian. Love you girl. Can’t wait to see that new baby. Love to you and the family ?

I hope Jason or Peter is next. With the previews for Bachelor in Paradise out – it looks like Colton is going back for Tia. Blake wasn’t my favourite to watch so that wouldn’t be fun. It was the first time in a while that my pick “won”. I like how genuine Garrett seems!
Ugh I haven’t watched it yet. The tite of this blog post popped up in my feed and ruined the finale for me 🙁 but of course I’ll still watch. And can’t wait for Bachelor in Paradise

I am so happy for Garrett and Becca! They do look so great together. I vote for Jason as the next Bachelor! He’s so charming, sweet, cute, etc… And he is so well spoken. It doesn’t hurt that he looks like a young Al Pacino…

Blake, please! Jason is too much of your typical cookie-cutter Bachelor (a banker, and the hair, the hair!). Blake’s very emotional side and insecurity are real emotions that you’d feel in such situations – and they’d play out well on TV. Plus I know think he’s kind of hot.
I would love to see Grocery Joe as the next Bachelor…however I know he is on Paradise. And also, trying to get him to talk on Men Tell All was like pulling teeth. Hopefully he’s a little more dynamic in paradise.
Don’t want to see Blake…don’t think he can handle it. Still don’t think this is the “format” for Peter, as he was so opposed to engagement at the end (kinda the point of the show).
Will they ever be so wild and crazy as to pick a complete Bachelor/ette/Pad/Paradise virgin? Someone brand new to the Bachelor family…get some new blood rather than “you didn’t win this time, but here’s a second chance”. I think it’s time!!!

The Bachelor has to be charming, funny, kind, and somewhat entertaining! Jason seems a like a sweet and genuine person. Blake seems like a standout guy as well but he may not handle the pressure too well.
After watching the first episode of Bachelor in Paradise tonight, Colton is off my list.
Peter, I am not too sure about him.
I believe Jason will be.

Jason is so funny and playful, yet also romantic and serious. Blake has a bright future ahead of him, maybe not being the Bachelor tho? I hope the franchise finds a super cool role for Blake, one that really allows his sincere and sensitive heart to shine. He really puts himself out there and isn’t afraid of his emotions, which takes courage. I think Blake being so raw was rare and also powerful. Jason or Peter are my vote for the next Bachelor. Really excited to see what Blake’s future holds too! Love your awesome energy and realness, Jilly!

It would be so nice to have someone fresh as the Bachelor! They are always from the last season! It has been so long since someone brand new took the role. But if I had to chose from last season, I think it should be Blake. He was so sweet and really genuine. Love your blogs!

I loved Peter on Rachel’s season. I had forgotten about him but am now totally hoping he will be the one.
Was not surprised Becca chose Garrett. They are clearly smitten with each other. I had thought it would be Blake for most of the season, but Garrett surpassed him in the last few weeks.
From this season definitely Colton not a Blake fan at all! Though it would be nice to see Peter again.
Umm.. Am I the only one who thought she made a terrible choice with Garrett??? I can’t brush aside his terrible red neck tweets like everyone seems to and his ..um… level of intelligence, shall we say, seems to be several dozen points below Becca’s. A great and stimulating life ahead for her I do not see. Yikes Becca, everyone including your family saw it right away.
