It’s HERE!! My much-anticipated Elevated Classics Collection with Smash + Tess. For YEARS I have LOVED collaborating with Smash + Tess on the coziest Rompers for a casual look to wear around the house or while running errands. But, I recently realized that there were a few core pieces missing from my wardrobe, like for work days at the office or for parent-teacher meetings at the kids’ school. This coincided with a reoccurring conversation Team Jilly and I were having: we kept asking ourselves, “why does workwear have to be so… uncomfortable? Why can’t our nicest outfits be as cozy as our Rompers?”And that got us thinking… well, why can’t they? Who’s stopping us??!

This collection has been a GAME CHANGER for me. As a momma of two kiddos (and two fur babies), not to mention a busy entrepreneur, I usually don’t have time to change my outfit multiple times per day for each occasion. That’s why we designed each piece in this collection with the intention of being able to dress it down with some loafers or flats and dress it up with a pair of heels, sunnies and a cute purse!

The Sweater Weather Mini Dress – $130 | 3XS – 4X

People often and fairly associate dresses with summer. But cozy dresses with warmer fabric can be the PERFECT transitional pieces to get you through special occasions for Spring, Fall AND Winter!!
And that’s JUST what we had in mind with this modern Sweater Weather Mini Dress!! It’s perfect for those chilly days when you still want to look adorable.
The design has this classic V-neck cut and long sleeves. The dress is made from a feathery soft knit fabric that keeps you warm without any itchiness, and thank GOODNESS, because who wants to scratch their way through the day? Not chic, LOL, but we’ve all done it…
What I love MOST about the Sweater Weather Mini Dress is that you can wear it on its own or LAYER it!! On shoot day, Shay helped me style this dress in SO many ways: with the Heather Grey dress, we added an oversized white collared shirt underneath and knee-high black, chunky boots; for the Oatmeal dress, we added a silk-coloured oatmeal blouse underneath, black fishnet tights and my favourite brown combat boots from Madewell; and, for the Cranberry dress, we added the black fishnets, black boots, and cream blazer and black crossbody bag.
All in all, there are ENDLESS ways to style this dress. It’s so versatile, comfortable and fashion-forward. I’m SO in love with it!!

For SO long, I’ve felt like the only two options I had when picking a going-out top were a T-shirt (too casual) or a blouse (sometimes too formal). I LOVE how this Emma Collared Shirt turned out. It perfectly straddles that line. It has the comfortableness of a T-shirt while still being a little fancier, like a blouse. The shirt has the most adorable Peter Pan-inspired collar with these cute little puffed sleeves.
The shirt comes in three classic colours: Midnight Black, White and Heather Grey. It’s SO versatile—and, might I add, it pairs perfectly with the next piece in the collection…
The Perfect Trouser – $130 | 3XS – 4X
Colours: Midnight Black/Soft Olive
You didn’t think we were going to leave you without a PERFECT pair of trousers, did you?! These pants are designed in a classic paper bag style and have a lovely high waist with a matching belt to add a little cinch. And, let’s be honest, the belt is SO handy so you’re not experiencing the old tug-and-adjust situation like with so many pairs of pants, LOL.
The Perfect Trouser comes in two colours: Midnight Black and Soft Olive! I love both colours so much, I can’t pick a favourite!
What I love most about these pants is they really do look polished and perfectly suit our Emma Collared Shirt for a stylish, comfortable ensemble.
