My Visit To ‘Sense A Rosewood Spa in the Hotel Georgia’

Just last week, I paid a visit to Sense a Rosewood Spa since they invited me to come in for their super popular TIDES full-body treatment…I really wasn’t about to turn that invite down!! I absolutely LOVE that the spa is right smack in the middle of downtown Vancouver annd in one of my favourite newly-designed hotels…the designer in me swoons over the sleek & elegant marble interiors. Kind of a must-see.

But I digress…the spa was amazing!!! I LOVED the ambiance and decor of the Sense Spa, which matched the rest of the hotel. AND to top off the morning I treated myself to a nice lunch and macaron at Hawksworth Cafe afterward – it was so lovely!!

The treatment was to DIE for…the vichy shower was like taking a hot shower, but in bed and not having to worry about the sheets! Haha!! How can you go wrong with that?! After a full body exfoliation with sea salts & seaweed AND a glacial mud body wrap, my skin is totally glowing and I had incredible positive energy for the rest of the day.

I go to the spa lots. I’m a bit of a spa-aholic that way…so it’s hard to impress me, so here’s what I’d rate my experience: The ambiance: 8/10; the treatment 10/10; the therapist: 10/10…needless to say, I will DEFINITELY be going back!

As amazing as the whole thing was, what excited me the most were all of the products!!! I found out that their seaweed and glacial clay is HAND HARVESTED in Northern BC using only sustainable methods, which supports First Nations interests. HOW COOL IS THAT?! I’m such a HUGE fan of supporting local organic & hand-harvested products and foods, so that definitely won me over!! Such an amazing product & brand and totally worth checking outBeauty Through Balance developed by Ancient Secrets Inc. & their website!!!!
