Their company origin story is also a beautiful one of family, hope and perseverance: in 1985, the family immigrated to Canada from Vietnam. After working a series of jobs, Thu (the matriarch) took the opportunity to apprentice as a Goldsmith. Through hard work and dedication, as well as a tremendous entrepreneurial spirit, the family opened their first “Paris Jewellers” store. Today, the company is led by Thu’s daughters Chau and Trang. Under their leadership, the company has grown to operate 23 locations in 4 provinces across Canada.
Something I LOVE about Paris Jewellers (besides their gorgeous jewellery, of course!) is that they have partnered with One Tree Planted to plant a tree in Canada for every product sold from their latest collection! Their focus will be on planting trees in the British Columbia region affected by forest fires. Paris Jewellers co-owners will also be matching all donations made to One Tree Planted at the end of 2022. How incredible is that?!
Plus, during the Holiday season (now until the end of December), a portion of all sales will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
I am also excited to share that $5,000 from Paris Jewellers will be going toward our Sponsored Families campaign! What is our Sponsored Families program, you ask? Each holiday season here at Jillian Harris Design, we sponsor families within our community who are experiencing economic insecurity over the holiday season. Thanks to your participation in our 12-Day Campaign year after year, we have been able to also grow our Sponsored Families campaign!
