Dry Skin Is No Joke

Morning loves!! Today is part three of my Avalon Organics testing. If you haven’t caught one and two yet then you’ve got a little catching up to do, not to worry though, you can go back and check them out! To catch everyone up on this, a few month’s back Avalon Organics reached out to me and asked if I would give some of their products a try and see what I thought so I’ve been putting them to the test for a few months now! These products are vegan, GMO, paraben, and cruelty-free! I reviewed their Intense Defense Line back in March (Healthy Skin is Always In) and their Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner (Argan Oil for the Win). Today I’m sharing my thoughts on their Nourishing Lavender shampoo, conditioner, hand and body lotion and bath and shower gel!

Before we kick this off, in my previous posts, many of you asked where you can purchase these products so I wanted to share the link to their store locator with you, just enter a few details and they’ll tell you where to find these products in or around your area, here’s the link!

Alright, so if you’re a hater of dry skin and a lover of lavender, (that could be a band name … “The Lavender Lovers” LOL) you’ll enjoy these products. Remember what I always start with? Lol … the SNIFF TEST! Their nourishing lavender line smells like … can you guess? LAVENDER! It’s subtle but fresh! If you REALLY love the smell of lavender you could use all three of these products together, just like I did, to get a bigger hit of the scent!

I decided to have a little “spa day” to myself and try out each of these products one after the other. I started off in the shower with the bath and shower gel, it made my skin feel nice and soft, not to mention, CLEAN! LOL … that sounds weird but you know when you use some soaps and shower gels and they make your skin feel like there’s a film on it or super dry? I didn’t get that feeling with this! Lol!! Oh! And, I also found out this shower gel also doubles as bubble bath! I haven’t tried that yet but I can save that for the new home to break in the tub!! Le sighhhh … I can’t wait to be in that tub! Ok, I’m slipping off into dream world here!

Next up, the shampoo and conditioner … these are for normal to dry hair which is great for me right now because I’ve been feeling like my hair has been on the drier side of the spectrum lately, after some suds and some singing … yup, 80’s country at the top of my lungs, my hair was squeaky clean, soft and shiny.

I ended my little at home “spa day” by drenching myself in lotion, lol!! I’m one of those people who always ends up taking WAY too much lotion so my skin was feelin’ pretty hydrated, to say the least! Lol, the lotion soaked into my skin quickly and a little goes a long way (lesson learned). I didn’t feel the need to reapply the lotion (maybe it was because I literally bathed in it?! LOL!) at all throughout the day as my skin stayed feeling moisturized.

All in all, I think these are great products for your daily use, I enjoyed the scent and the end results, plus their price point is pretty tough to beat. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these, what do you like about the products? Or, have you tried them out already?? Maybe their staples in your home? Either way, comment below and let me know what you think!
