Fall Favs for Leo

Fall is one of my FAVOURITE times of year to shop. Nothing beats cozy sweaters and leggings … especially if you’re a new mama like me. BUT that also goes for Leo … I am DYING over how cute all of the baby items are this season. I mean the summer items were cute too … but the cable knit one-piece (opens in a new tab) and the faux fur zip ups (opens in a new tab) are next level. I have been finding so many cute things for such reasonable prices I thought I would share some of my favs for Leo with you too …

There are so many great places to shop for kids clothes and a wide range depending on what you’re looking for. One of my favourite items that I found for Leo this fall is his BIG pom-pom toque and the double pom-pom toque from Lil Fox Shoppe (opens in a new tab). They are handmade, super warm and perfect for fall and winter. The oh-so-adorable plush hi-top sneakers (opens in a new tab) are 100% cotton and the best part … they wipe clean (a Mother’s dream!)!!! I just recently purchased the stripe print bodysuit (opens in a new tab) and the sherpa-lined hoodie (opens in a new tab) from Joe Fresh (opens in a new tab) (and you can’t have a sherpa hoodie without sherpa booties!!), both of these items are so versatile and perfect for layering in these chillier months! The cable knit sweater (opens in a new tab) and the knit animal face one-piece (opens in a new tab) are both so handy for dressing and diapering with the buttons at shoulder and inseam … not to mention, they are CUTE and PERFECT for cuddling!

Leo has a few pair of Minimoc (opens in a new tab)‘s because I love them so much. They have a handy elastic band at the opening which is realllly helpful for me when I go to put them on Leo … and they even stay on when he starts kicking!! Can we talk about how ADORABLE these mini distressed jeans (opens in a new tab) are?!?! Each item is bleached and distressed by hand so no pair of jeans will look the same … but there is one guarantee … they will be darn cute!!

Another layering staple is the long sleeve henley bodysuit (opens in a new tab) … I prefer putting Leo in body suits because I find that separates ALWAYS slip up and his belly starts showing!!! I will go more into this in a separate blog, so stay tuned!! The bamboo slouchy beanie (opens in a new tab) is one of our absolute favourites for many reasons … it’s stretchy so it can grow with Leo AND it’s designed and made in Vancouver, BC by one of our fav companies!!! Lastly, the milk and cookies organic cotton leggings (opens in a new tab)!! These babies are so soft you won’t know what hit you … they are made from 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton and printed with water-based inks, making them safe against babies delicate skin and better for the environment!!
