This gift guide and post is a shout out to all of the small, local, mom and pop shops out there. I’m sure you’re aware that I (and many others) love the convenience of big box stores. It’s a one stop shop … how could you not!? BUT I’ve started to realize that it’s very important to support smaller and locally run businesses as much as we can!
I was online shopping for Christmas presents over the weekend and was digging deep in to Etsy. I was surprised by the variety that they had to offer, the quality and the price for handmade products!!! There are SO many creative people out there producing gorgeous items that should be recognized. During the Christmas season I try my best to support charities, sponsor families and spread as much love around to people that need it the most. And in my mind, supporting local fits into that same category. Take a look for yourself or check out my top picks in the gift guide above!!! As you can see they really do offer a little something for everyone on your list … and in my opinion that’s better than a box store!!!

I love the crate! Too bad it doesn’t ship to Canada 🙁 I’m searching Etsy as I type for a similar one that is available in Ontario!
