Happy Birthday Mindy!

Today is a very special persons Birthday … if you don’t know Mindy she has been a member of Team Jilly for just over a year. She not only completes us … but she makes work A LOT more fun. She is easy going and kind hearted and will NEVER turn down a glass of wine … no matter what time. So for her Birthday her closest friends, Sisters, Mom, Dad and Team Jilly have taken over the blog to tell her how much we love her …

Most people don’t know we’ve known each other since we were little girls. We grew up in the same small small town and even though we didn’t keep in touch, after 25+ years we made our way back to each other and I couldn’t be HAPPIER with the way it all turned out. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE you. You have a heart of gold, you are open minded, fun, dedicated, open to any adventure and one of the most genuine people I know.  But what I love most, you totally ‘get me’, we have the same sick “Peace River” sense of humour  (thank god! LOL) and most importantly you LOVE our little Leo and Nacho SO much. THANK YOU.  I could go on and on… but there’s a very handsome fella here that is pacing back and forth begging for the computer… so I have to hand it over.

… FINALLY She’s been sitting at that computer all morning. ITS NOT THAT HARD TO TYPE MOM. HI MINDY.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY. MY Birthday was yesterday but everyone forgot. OH well. BOL (Barking out loud)  … I know I’m a dog and you’re a human but if I was 30 years older, farted less and had 2 legs YOU would be in trouble gurrrrlllll.  Thank you for coming to hang out with me when my parents go TRAVELING ALL OVER THE WORLD WITHOUT ME. ITs nice to know SOMEBODY cares.  And I know you were a bit nervous about wrestling with me at first but you are VERY good at it. Thank you for taking me for hikes and snuggling with me on the couch. Sometimes I get so excited to see you I throw up. Sorry about that but I hope you take it as a compliment… I mean HOW MANY other guys throw up with excitement when they see you. … ya thats what I thought. Anyway, I love you Aunty Mindy I hope you have the BEST birthday (if you have any sausage at Quails Gate you know where to bring the left overs… wink wink..)

It shocks me that I’ve only known this sweet soul for just over a year. You have been not only a great addition to Team Jilly but also as a great drinking companion, volleyball partner, and friend. You always know how to have a good time and can make light of any situation, which I SO admire. You are kind, generous, and beautiful inside and out.
